IPEX grants to take 25 agri-food companies to SIAL Paris 2026

Por FactBox Admin

The Castilla-La Mancha Foreign Promotion Institute (IPEX) has approved a call for grants, endowed with 75,000 euros, to finance the grouped participation of up to 25 companies from the regional agri-food sector in the SIAL Paris 2026 trade fair, which will be held from October 17 to 21 in Paris (France). The call is published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha number 165, dated August 28, 2026, by means of the Resolution of 08/21/2026 of IPEX, with reference [2026/6307].

A benchmark fair for the sector

SIAL Paris is one of the leading international agri-food trade fairs in the fields of retail, food service, and catering. In its last edition, it brought together more than 265,000 professionals from nearly 200 countries and featured the participation of more than 7,500 exhibitors, consolidating itself as a benchmark showcase for discovering the latest trends, innovations, and launches in the global food market.

Castilla-La Mancha has supported the grouped participation of its companies in this biennial fair for thirteen editions, either through the Spanish pavilion organized by ICEX or through the direct contracting of an exhibition space with the fair organization.

Beneficiaries and amount of aid

The call is aimed at food and beverage companies (excluding wine) that carry out their economic activity in Castilla-La Mancha. Eligible beneficiaries may include companies, self-employed workers registered in the RETA, clusters, cooperatives, communities of assets, and for-profit business groupings, as well as management bodies for geographical indications and protected designations of origin.

  • Maximum number of beneficiaries: 25 companies.
  • Eligible participation fee: 10,000 euros.
  • Aid percentage: 30%, up to 3,000 euros per company.
  • Total credit for the call: 75,000 euros, charged to the IPEX 2026 budget (program 751B, item 47573).

The grants are de minimis in nature, in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 2023/2831, meaning that the total aid of this nature obtained by a company over three years may not exceed 300,000 euros.

Deadline and submission of applications

The application period extends from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha until September 18, 2026. Applications shall be submitted electronically with an electronic signature via the form available on the electronic office of the Administration of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha (www.jccm.es).

The call for applications is governed by Order 152/2022, of July 29, of the Regional Ministry of Economy, Business and Employment, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid for grouped participation in internationalization actions convened by IPEX. The full text can be consulted in the National Grants Database (BDNS), with identifier 926075.

A priority market for the region

France remains in 2026 as one of the main destination markets for agri-food exports from Castilla-La Mancha, thanks to geographical proximity, the strength of commercial relations, and the high demand for quality products. Among the products with the greatest presence, meat products, olive oil, cheeses, fruits and vegetables, and canned vegetables stand out.

The agri-food sector represents more than a third of the region’s total foreign sales, underlining the relevance of this call to strengthen the international competitiveness of companies from Castilla-La Mancha. The resolution is signed by the director of IPEX, Paloma Sánchez Garrido, in Toledo, on August 21, 2026.
