Ayerbe calls for the rental of a municipal home for 310 euros

The Ayerbe City Council has announced a public tender for the lease of a municipally-owned home intended for new residents, with a monthly rent of 310 euros for the 2026 fiscal year. The announcement was signed by the mayor, Antonio Biescas Giménez, on October 29, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 209, dated October 30, 2026, under the official reference BOPH-2026-209004.

The property subject to the contract is the home located on the ground floor right of Avda. Estación nº 10 in Ayerbe (Huesca). The municipal file number is 1926929Q and the processing is handled by the council’s Secretariat, with NIF P2204900A.

Economic conditions and contract duration

The bidding price is set at 310.00 euros per month for the current fiscal year, according to the text of the announcement. The duration of the contract is two years, extendable in annual periods up to a maximum of five years.

Two envelopes and electronic submission

The procedure is processed as a tender and the Particular Conditions Specifications are published on the Electronic Office of the Ayerbe City Council (https://ayerbe.sedipualba.es/). Interested parties must submit two envelopes at the municipal Registry or through the electronic office:

• Envelope A: administrative documentation.
• Envelope B: documentation allowing for the evaluation of offers according to the award criteria.

The submission period is 20 business days starting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca, meaning the count begins after October 30, 2026.

A model already in place in the province

The Ayerbe call is added to other similar initiatives in the rural areas of Huesca. Two days prior, the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 207, dated October 28, 2026, published the tender from the Minor Local Entity of Espés to lease a home at C/ Arrabal nº 3, approved by Mayoral Decree nº 11/2026, dated October 14, 2026. In that case, the specifications require the property to be used as the primary residence of new residents and specify the award scale.

The Ayerbe announcement does not detail the evaluation criteria, which are referred to the specifications published on the electronic office; therefore, interested parties must consult that document before preparing Envelope B.

The municipal rental formula for new settlers has also been extended to provincial programming: the project “Adaptation of the ground floor of a municipal building for new settler housing” in Escalona was included in the 2026 Extraordinary Provincial Impulse Plan of the Provincial Council of Huesca, according to the announcement published in issue number 153, dated August 13, 2026.

The call represents a way for Ayerbe to attract residents with publicly owned housing at a fixed price, within a context of population loss in the rural areas of Huesca. For potential tenants, the offer combines a rent of 310 euros per month with a commitment of up to five years, although the 20-business-day deadline limits the window for gathering documentation and submitting an offer.
