Avilés allocates 25,000 euros for youth employment with European funds

The Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation of Avilés has announced financial aid intended to promote employment (2026) within the framework of the Young Talent Program, with a maximum budget of 25,000 euros and co-financed by 69.64% by the European Social Fund Plus. The summary of the call is published in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias (BOPA) no. 186, dated September 25, 2026, within section VI, Other Announcements, with the official reference 2026-07727 and the BDNS identifier 930250.

The publication is carried out in accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, which requires the publication of the summary of the calls through the National Database of Subsidies. The full text of the guidelines is available to companies at the headquarters of the Avilés Chamber and can be consulted on the website www.avilescamara.es, as well as on the state subsidies portal.

The program is part of the ESF+ Youth Employment Program 2021-2027, the European instrument that finances activation and hiring actions for young people. The call is signed by the Secretary General of the corporation in Avilés, on August 27, 2026.

Who can apply for the aid

The beneficiaries are companies and individuals registered under the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers within the territorial jurisdiction of the Avilés Chamber of Commerce who are registered in the Census of the Tax on Economic Activities (IAE).

The purpose of this line is to subsidize companies in that jurisdiction that have hired young people who are beneficiaries of the National Youth Guarantee System, under the terms provided for in the state regulations that govern it, and who have at least completed the vocational guidance within the Young Talent Program.

Amount and budget

• Maximum budget for the call: 25,000 euros.
• Amount per young person hired: 5,000 euros.
• European co-financing: 69.64% funded by the European Social Fund Plus, within the framework of the ESF+ Youth Employment Program 2021-2027.
• Beneficiaries: companies and self-employed workers in the jurisdiction of the Avilés Chamber registered in the IAE Census.

With this distribution, the available budget would allow for the subsidization of up to five hirings of young people who meet the program requirements.

Application deadline

The period for submitting applications begins the day after the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias and will conclude on December 31, 2026.

However, the deadline may close prior to that date if the budget provided for in the call is exhausted; therefore, the Chamber warns that applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The call reaches companies and freelancers in the Avilés region with a double incentive: it reduces the cost of hiring young people registered in the Youth Guarantee and channels European funds toward the local productive fabric. As this is a line with a limited budget and early closure if exhausted, interested companies should formalize their application as soon as possible to secure the 5,000 euros for each eligible hire.
