Por FactBox Admin

The General Directorate of Labor of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment of the Community of Madrid has resolved to register, deposit, and publish the partial agreement reached between the legal representation of the company Auxiliar Logística Aeroportuaria, S. A. (ALAER) and the legal representatives of its workers, whereby the company abandons its bargaining unit and adheres to the sectoral collective agreement. The resolution, signed on July 27, 2026, by the Director General of Labor, Silvia Marina Parra Rudilla, appears in the B.O.C.M. number 197, of August 19, 2026 (pages 34 to 36).

An agreement negotiated for months

The final minutes with the agreement of the negotiating commission were signed on June 9, 2026, at the company’s official headquarters in Madrid. The process began on November 3, 2025, when the social side denounced the I Collective Agreement of ALAER, which expired on December 31, 2025, and the negotiating commission was constituted on December 3, 2025, under the Workers’ Statute.

The parties held negotiation meetings on several dates:

  • December 17, 2025.
  • April 20, 2026.
  • April 29, 2026.
  • May 20, 2026, where the waiver of the company agreement was pre-agreed.

The pre-agreement was submitted to an assembly of workers on June 4, 2026, with a majority result in favor, and the social representation voted in favor by 5 votes out of a total of 5.

Full adherence to the sectoral agreement

With the agreement, the parties abandon the bargaining unit of the collective agreement of Auxiliar Logística Aeroportuaria, S. A. (agreement code 28103272012022) and adhere fully to the applicable sectoral collective agreement, the Collective Agreement for the Logistics, Parcel, and Activities Annexed to Freight Transport Sector (agreement code 28100055012016).

The adherence takes effect from July 1, 2026, with economic effects from January 1, 2026, under Article 92 of the Workers’ Statute and Article 5 of the company’s I Collective Agreement. Additionally, the parties negotiated a collective agreement to improve conditions relative to the overall conventional provisions.

Composition of the negotiating commission

The commission was composed of the company representation and the social representation:

  • For the company: Leybi Claribel Concepción Senfis and Senén Álvarez Álvarez.
  • For the social side: Ramón Peinado Atero (CCOO), Doris Beatriz Olivella Longa (CCOO), Víctor Enrique Schotborgh Partida (UGT) and Álvaro Ansuátegui Burgos (UGT).

For the electronic registration before the labor authority, authority was delegated to Elena Díaz Mayoral and Enrique Ceca Gómez-Arevalillo, external advisors to the company. The agreement is registered under number (03/12.662/26).

Relevance of the change

The adherence to the sectoral agreement represents a substantial change in the working conditions of the ALAER workforce, which will no longer be governed by its own company agreement but will instead apply the sectoral framework for logistics and parcel delivery, with retroactive economic effects to January 2026. The resolution, which may be appealed via an administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) before the Vice-Ministry of Economy and Employment within one month, consolidates a negotiation model that directly affects the rights of workers in the sector.
