New private vocational training center Médical FP authorized in Albacete

The Vice-Ministry of Education, Universities and Research of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Castilla-La Mancha has approved the opening and operation of the private Specific Vocational Training center Médical FP Castilla-La Mancha, S.L., in Albacete, due to the relocation of facilities and modification of teachings. The decision is detailed in the Resolution of 08/15/2026, published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha (DOCM) number 163, dated August 26, 2026, with reference [2026/6238].

The file was processed at the request of Mr. Andrés Mateo Rivera, legal representative of the center’s owner, who requested the change of address due to the relocation of facilities and the modification of the teachings provided. The center, with code 02004963 and NIF B75564054, is now located at C/ Carretera de Jaén, 180, in Albacete.

A relocation that expands the healthcare offering

The authorization configures the center with two Higher Level training cycles, totaling 240 school places in morning and afternoon shifts:

• Higher Level Training Cycle in Diagnostic Imaging and Nuclear Medicine: 4 units, with 120 school places (60 in the morning shift and 60 in the afternoon shift).
• Higher Level Training Cycle in Radiotherapy and Dosimetry: 4 units, with 120 school places (60 in the morning shift and 60 in the afternoon shift).

The processing was supported by favorable reports from the Education Inspection Service (07/13/2026 and 08/04/2026) and the Technical Unit of the Provincial Delegation of Education, Culture and Sports of Albacete (07/30/2026), which verified compliance with the required minimum spaces. The Provincial Delegate proposed the authorization on 08/10/2026.

Regulatory framework

The resolution is issued under the regulations for the authorization of private educational centers, including Organic Law 2/2006, of May 3, on Education, Organic Law 3/2022, of March 31, on the organization and integration of Vocational Training, and Royal Decree 332/1992, of April 3, on authorizations for private educational centers. Royal Decree 332/1992 considers the change of address due to the relocation of facilities and the modification of teachings as circumstances that give rise to a new authorization.

Effects and appeals

The resolution, signed in Toledo on August 15, 2026, by the vice-minister María del Mar Torrecilla Sánchez, will take effect the day following its publication in the DOCM. Against it, which does not end the administrative route, an appeal for reversal may be filed before the head of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports within one month.

The opening consolidates the presence of private health vocational training in Albacete, expanding the number of places in two high-demand degrees linked to diagnostic imaging and radiotherapy, profiles with growing professional opportunities in the hospital environment.
