The General Directorate of Energy Transition of the Regional Ministry of Sustainable Development has granted Boedo Solar, S.L. the prior administrative and construction authorization for the solar photovoltaic installation named FV Valdefuentes, along with its auxiliary and evacuation infrastructures. The resolution, signed on September 8, 2026, by the general director Alipio García Rodríguez, is published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha number 178, dated September 16, 2026, in section III (Other provisions and acts), page 32096, with reference 2703/01644.
The project, processed at the Provincial Delegation of Sustainable Development of Toledo with reference PE-726, was subjected to public consultation via an announcement published in the DOCM number 52, dated March 13, 2024, with no allegations recorded. The installation is exempt from ordinary and simplified environmental impact assessments, according to the report from the Environmental Quality Service.
Technical characteristics of the plant
The photovoltaic installation, intended for the production of renewable electrical energy for discharge into the distribution grid, has a capacity of 1,232.56 kWp (1,417.44 kWp) and 1,000 kW of inverter capacity. The technical project was drafted by the engineer Ginés Martínez Pérez, member number 1280 of the Cogiti of Albacete.
- 1,736 bifacial photovoltaic modules of 710 Wp on a fixed structure.
- 4 inverters of 250 kW.
- 1 transformation center of 1,000 kVA.
- High-voltage underground line of 20 kV and 192 meters.
- Sectioning center and mixed 20 kV input/output line with double aerial-underground connection.
Location and connection
The photovoltaic plant will be located in polygon 4, plot 36, of the municipality of Talavera de la Reina (Toledo), while the sectioning center will be located in polygon 15, plot 12, of Pepino (Toledo). The promoter holds an access and connection permit from i-DE Redes Eléctricas Inteligentes, S.A.U., with a granted capacity of 1,000 kW (reference 9042409325), updated on March 11, 2025, due to a change in location.
During the processing, the affected bodies were consulted, including the city councils of Pepino and Talavera de la Reina, the Provincial Delegation of Education, Culture and Sports, the Ministry of Public Works, REE, and i-DE. The company Ventaja Solar 14, S.L., affected by the evacuation line of the ISFV Talavera I installation, initially presented an opposition, which was resolved with a work coordination agreement and its final conformity on May 25, 2026.
Conditions of the authorization
The resolution grants the authorizations without prejudice to other necessary concessions and subjects its validity to the completion of the procedures for the effective connection of the installation. The execution period is determined by the maximum date for obtaining the final operating authorization, in accordance with the validity of the access and connection permit. An administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) may be filed against the resolution before the head of the Regional Ministry of Sustainable Development within one month of its notification.
The authorization of the FV Valdefuentes plant reinforces the deployment of renewable energies in the region of Talavera de la Reina, a photovoltaic generation project that will contribute to the decarbonization of the electrical system and the revitalization of the energy sector and local employment in the province of Toledo.
