Chasca de Samboal solar plant authorized on non-developable land

The Third Vice-Presidency and Department of Environment, Infrastructure, Territory and Recovery of the Generalitat Valenciana has favorably resolved the implementation on non-developable land and the prior and construction administrative authorizations for the photovoltaic project “PSF Chasca de Samboal”. The decision is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia number 163, dated August 26, 2026, with reference 2026/10546.

The announcement is issued by the Territorial Service of Industry, Energy and Mines of Valencia, a body dependent on the aforementioned department, and is part of the administrative procedure processed under file ATALFE/2022/47/46. The favorable resolution represents a decisive step toward the implementation of a solar energy generation facility in the Valencian territory, by clearing the urban and administrative formalities necessary for its execution.

A photovoltaic project on non-developable land

The resolution authorizes the implementation of the “PSF Chasca de Samboal” project on non-developable land, a land category that requires specific processing and verification of its compatibility with current territorial and urban planning. The department’s favorable decision confirms that the installation meets the requirements demanded for its location on this type of land, which is usually subject to a stricter protection regime.

Three authorizations in a single resolution

The favorable resolution comprises three distinct administrative authorizations, which are processed jointly in a single procedure:

• Authorization for implementation on non-developable land, which validates the compatibility of the installation with the land regime.
• Prior administrative authorization, which recognizes the viability of the project from an energy and technical standpoint.
• Administrative construction authorization, which enables the execution of the works for the photovoltaic plant.
