Expansion of a 25 kV electrical center in Adamuz authorized

The Territorial Delegation of Economy, Finance and European Funds, and of University, Industry, Energy and Innovation in Córdoba has granted Edistribución Redes Digitales SLU the prior administrative and construction authorization for the high-voltage electrical installation consisting of the power increase of the distribution center CD 60773 “J.AYLLON” to 25 kV. The resolution, signed on August 7, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 177, dated September 14, 2026, with reference BOP-A-2026-2913 and file AT 153/99-1.
The action is framed within the procedure regulated by Royal Decree 1955/2000, of December 1, on transport, distribution, marketing, and supply activities of electrical energy, as well as by Decree 9/2011 and Decree-law 26/2021, on administrative simplification for economic reactivation in Andalusia. Since neither a declaration of public utility was requested nor is it subject to Unified Environmental Authorization, the installation is exempt from the public information process provided for in article 125 of the aforementioned royal decree.
Installation Characteristics
The project consists of the renovation of the outdoor pole-mounted transformation center located in the area of Fuente Santa Alta (polygon 6, plot 42), in the municipality of Adamuz (Córdoba). The technicians of the Energy Department issued a favorable report, signed by a competent technician and endorsed by the corresponding professional association.
- Type: Outdoor Pole-Mounted Transformation Center.
- Transformation ratio: 25/0.4 kV.
- Installed power: 25 kVA.
- Projected power: 160 kVA.
- Scope: replacement of the 25 kVA B2 transformer with a 160 kVA B2 one, adaptation of APR fuses, and installation of bird protection.
Authorization Conditions
The authorization is granted as a prior and construction authorization, subject to a series of technical and administrative conditions that the company must comply with during the execution and operation of the works.
- The works must be carried out in accordance with the project and the submitted annexes.
- The authorization is only valid within the scope of the Delegation’s competencies and subject to other licenses and permits.
- The commissioning period will be 24 months from the date of the resolution.
- Upon completion of the works, the holder must notify the Delegation for final recognition and the operation resolution.
- The technical and safety conditions of the current regulations shall be complied with.
Signature and Appeals
The resolution, made final by the Delegation, is signed by the territorial delegate Agustín López Ortiz, upon the proposal of the head of the Energy Service José María Pérez Gil. Against this resolution, which does not exhaust administrative remedies, an appeal for reversal (recurso de alzada) may be filed before the head of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mines within one month of its publication or notification.
The power expansion of this distribution center reinforces the electrical supply capacity in the Adamuz area, improving the quality and reliability of the service for the users of the region. Furthermore, the birdlife protection incorporated into the renovation underscores the facility’s commitment to the conservation of the natural environment.
