Por FactBox Admin

The Territorial Delegation of Economy, Finance, European Funds, and Industry, Energy and Mines in Cádiz has granted Romero Candau S.L. the prior administrative and construction authorization for a new high-voltage power line and its transformation center at Finca Marcegoso, in the municipality of Villamartín. The resolution, signed on August 3, 2026, by the territorial delegate María Inmaculada Olivero Corral, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz number 169, dated September 2, 2026, under number 273.296 and file AT-16396/26.

The application was submitted on April 14, 2026, to the Territorial Delegation, which processed the procedure in accordance with Royal Decree 1955/2000, of December 1, which regulates the activities of transport, distribution, marketing, and supply of electrical energy, in development of Law 24/2013, of December 26, of the Electricity Sector, and Decree 9/2011, of January 18.

The authorized installation

The action, classified as a renovation due to age, consists of a new medium-voltage overhead line (LAMT) and an outdoor transformation center named “Cándido González”, with 50 kVA and a voltage of 20 kV, located at Finca Marcegoso. Its main technical characteristics are:

  • Section 1: 20 kV overhead line and 0.36 km in length, with LA-56 conductor (47-AL1/8 ST1A) and hot-dip galvanized steel lattice supports.
  • Section 2: 20 kV overhead line and 0.306 km in length, with the same type of conductor and supports.
  • Outdoor transformation center “Cándido González” of 50 kVA, with UTM coordinates (zone 30) X: 263568, Y: 4080602.

Conditions and deadlines

The resolution sets an execution period of two years, counted from the day following the notification, and establishes that the works must be carried out according to the submitted project. The holder must report the completion of the works for the purposes of final recognition and the extension of the operating authorization, and must comply with the technical and safety conditions of the current regulations.

During the processing, the corresponding excerpts were forwarded to the affected bodies, including the Territorial Delegation of Sustainability and Environment in Cádiz (Department of Livestock Routes), notified on May 25, 2026, without response. The construction authorization does not exempt the holder from obtaining other mandatory authorizations and licenses.

Appeals and validity

An administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) may be filed against this resolution, which does not exhaust administrative remedies, before the Minister of University, Industry, Energy, and Innovation of the Regional Government of Andalusia within one month of its notification. The Administration may revoke the authorization if the imposed conditions are not met or if the execution causes impacts on the assets and rights of administrations or public service companies not contemplated in the project.

The publication in the official bulletin fulfills the petitioner’s obligation to publicize the resolution, ensuring the transparency of a project that affects the electricity supply and the security of the Villamartín area, and which will allow for the renewal of distribution infrastructures that had become obsolete due to age.
