Australian Securities and Investments Commission restores over 1,300 companies to register

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission has reinstated the registrations of more than 1,300 companies, returning them to the national corporate register. The decision is notified under section 601AH(1) and 601AH(2) of the Corporations Act 2001, in a notice dated 7 October 2026. It appears in ASIC Gazette No. A41/26, published on Tuesday 13 October 2026, under the heading Company reinstatements.

The notice is a statutory announcement carried in the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette, the official publication in which ASIC gives notice of decisions taken under the Corporations Act 2001. The issue’s contents list nine notices under that Act, numbered 26-0570, 26-0789, 26-0832, 26-0833, 26-0835, 26-0838, 26-0840, 26-0841 and 26-0843.

The reinstatement list fills pages 23 to 72 of the 78-page issue and is set out alphabetically, opening with A.C.N. 108 523 726 PTY LTD (ACN 108 523 726) and A.C.N. 617 980 560 PTY LTD (ACN 617 980 560), and closing with ZERFAS AND COMPANY PTY LTD (ACN 666 900 992) before a final run of numerically named entities such as 02MAJHA PTY LTD (ACN 675 157 070) and 8KOSMOS PTY LTD (ACN 663 820 273). The gazette states that the registrations of the companies listed have been reinstated, and carries a rights of review notice directing affected persons to Regulatory Guide 57 (RG57) and Information Sheet INFO 9.

A bulk reinstatement across every sector

The single notice spans the whole economy, from family holdings to long-established names. Each entry is identified by its full legal name and its nine-digit Australian Company Number (ACN).

Deregistrations, foreign companies and changes of type

• Under subsection 601PA(3), ASIC may deregister IPARTNERS MASTER INCOME FUND (ARSN 686 125 502) two months after publication, unless given acceptable reason not to proceed.

Reinstatement matters beyond the companies themselves: it revives an entity that creditors, former directors, employees and counterparties may have written off, and it reopens questions about assets, contracts and liabilities that were frozen while the company was off the register.
