Augas de Galicia publishes the Feder co-financing for the technical assistance in Ribadeo

Augas de Galicia has publicized the European co-financing of the technical assistance contract for the project management of the water supply improvement works in Ribadeo and Trabada (Lugo). The resolution, signed on September 14, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG) no. 182, Thursday, September 24, 2026, in section VI of announcements, with the official reference CVE-DOG: x6me8j88-ymr7-vbo8-z4k8-st4rdg66w0p7. The base tender budget amounts to 100,358.61 euros (82,941.00 euros net) and the action is co-financed at 60% of the eligible expenditure by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

The publication responds to the information and publicity obligation for actions co-financed with European funds, as set out in Annex IX of Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of June 24, 2021, and in application of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on public sector contracts. The contracting authority is Augas de Galicia, a public business entity attached to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of the Xunta de Galicia, with NIF Q1500378C and headquarters at Praza Camilo Díaz Baliño, 7-9, Santiago de Compostela.

The object of the contract and the file

The contract covers the technical assistance service for the project management of the water supply improvement works in Ribadeo and Trabada, under the following terms:

Figures, deadlines and award criteria

The estimated value of the contract is 109,106.24 euros, which includes the base tender budget (82,941.00 euros) and the possible ordinary contractual extensions provided (26,165.24 euros). The execution period is 16 months, with a provision for extensions up to a maximum of 5 months.

The award was made in application of the objective criteria set out in the specific administrative clauses, weighted as follows:

• Economic proposal: 41 points.
• Analysis of the technical document of the work: 20 points.
• Methodology for the execution of control works for materials, equipment and work units: 17 points.
• Methodology for the preparation of work inspection reports and/or implementation of monitoring and control programs: 12 points.
• Measures for demographic impulse: 10 points.

Award, contractor and European financing

The contract award was agreed upon on June 22, 2026, and the formalization took place on July 21, 2026. 6 offers were received, of which 5 came from small or medium-sized enterprises and none from other Member States of the European Union or third countries; all were submitted electronically.

The contracting company is Applus Norcontrol, S.L., with NIF B15044357 and address at estrada N-VI km 582, 15168 Sada (A Coruña). The value of the selected offer is 86,223.03 euros (71,258.70 euros net).

The action is part of the Galicia Feder 2021-2027 program, within specific objective 2.5 for the promotion of access to water and sustainable water management, under action line 2.5.02 for increasing the resilience of supply systems (large systems). The tender announcement was published in the contractor profile on October 14, 2025, the award on June 22, 2026, the formalized contract on July 31, 2026, and its publicity on August 3, 2026. The resolution is signed by Roi Fernández Añón, director of Augas de Galicia, by delegation of the president (Resolution of 30.1.2012; DOG no. 21, of January 31).

The publication in the DOG allows interested parties to know the conditions of a contract that reinforces the water supply in two municipalities of the Mariña lucense, with a work whose project management is supported by external technical assistance and which has community funding to guarantee its execution and control.
