Augas de Ames delegates the awarding of contracts to the Presidency

The Public Business Entity Augas de Ames EPEL has agreed to delegate to the Presidency the contracting competencies that correspond to the Board of Directors as the contracting authority. The decision, adopted at the Board session held on August 6, 2026, was submitted for public exhibition via an announcement published in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña number 157, on August 19, 2026, under file G.D. 14352/2026.

The delegation covers the actions following the Board’s approval of the initiation and approval of the contracting file, the approval of expenditure, and the approval of the specifications governing the contract. In this way, the Presidency assumes the final phase of the procedure, which translates into more agile processing of tenders of interest for providers and citizens.

Delegated Competencies

According to the announcement, the delegation includes the following actions that corresponded to the Board of Directors as the contracting authority:

• The resolution for the award of the contract.
• The formalization of the contract.
• The declaration of the procedure as void (deserted).
• The adoption of the agreements necessary for the termination of the procedure when it cannot culminate with the award of the contract.
• Any other resolutory act that, in accordance with current legislation on public sector contracting, corresponds to the contracting authority and is necessary for the complete finalization of the procedure.

Signature and Substitution

The announcement was signed in Ames on August 13, 2026, by the vice president of Augas de Ames EPEL, Susana Señorís Rodríguez, substituting for the Presidency due to absence. The substitution is supported by Presidency Resolution No. 67/2026, of August 7, 2026, corresponding to file 14596/2026.
