Augas de Ames approves the final list of admitted candidates for official 1st

The Public Business Entity Augas de Ames EPEL has approved the final list of admitted and excluded candidates in the selection process to fill the position of 1st service officer, as well as the appointment of the selection committee that will judge the tests. The resolution, signed by the Presidency of the entity on September 4, 2026, was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña number 173, dated September 10, 2026, under announcement number 2026/5847 and file GD.9085/2026.

Final list of admitted candidates

The resolution declares eight applicants admitted, with no excluded candidates listed. Several of them did not provide the supporting document proving possession of the Celga 2 or equivalent; therefore, they must take the mandatory specific test of knowledge of the Galician language provided for in the ninth clause of the call and obtain a qualification of “Fit” to continue in the process.

Selection Committee

The resolution appoints the members of the selection committee that will judge the tests, with principals and substitutes for each position:

• President: principal, Verónica Castro Quintáns, head of service of Augas de Ames EPEL; substitute, Albino de Jesús Alves, 1st service officer.
• Secretary: principal, Anabel Negrín Blanco, administrative staff; substitute, Albino Noya Pampín, 1st service officer.
• Member: principal, Ricardo Tosar Quintáns, foreman and 1st service officer; substitute, Julio Vieito Tosar, 1st service officer.

First session and start of proceedings

The resolution sets the place, date, and time of the first constitutive session of the committee and the start of its proceedings: next Monday, September 14, 2026, at 4:00 PM, at the administrative offices of Augas de Ames EPEL located in Bertamiráns. The list and the composition of the committee are published in the BOP and on the entity’s website, and the resolution is forwarded to the members of the committee for the purposes provided for in articles 23 and 24 of Law 40/2015, of October 1, on the legal regime of the public sector.

Relevance of the process

This call represents a decisive step toward filling a key technical position in the municipal water service of Ames, in a process where the accreditation of Galician language knowledge conditions the continuity of a large part of the applicants. The holding of the constitutive session next week marks the effective start of the selection tests.
