Atarfe abre el plazo de 100.000 euros en ayudas al deporte base

The Atarfe City Council has opened the call for grassroots sports grants for the 2026-2027 season, endowed with 100,000 euros and divided into two lines of aid. The call is published via the extract of Resolution 2119/2026 in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada no. 211, dated October 30, 2026, with the reference BOP-GRA-2026-211002, and allows only ten calendar days to submit applications.

The guidelines regulate the granting of subsidies under a competitive bidding process managed by the Sports Department of the Atarfe City Council, in order to support the participation of sports clubs, individuals, and non-profit sports associations with a registered office in Atarfe or that carry out their activity in the municipality. The extract complies with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17, and is registered in the National Subsidies Database with the identifier 937320 and extract number 223566. The document was signed in Atarfe on October 22, 2026, by the mayor, Yolanda Fernández Morales.

Two grant lines and caps per beneficiary

The economic distribution is specified in two items:

  • Support for Sports Promotion Schools: maximum amount of 95,000 euros, with a cap of 27,000 euros per sports entity.
  • Collaboration with individual athletes: maximum amount of 5,000 euros, with a cap of 1,000 euros per athlete.

In both lines, the value of the point results from dividing the assigned amount by the total points obtained by the applicants, so that the final amount is distributed proportionally to the score. If the requests exceed the available credit, the City Council may prorate the global item according to the score and the requested budget.

Requirements and submission within ten calendar days

Grants may be requested by clubs registered in the Andalusian Registry of Sports Entities of the Regional Government of Andalusia, as well as entities with a registered office in Atarfe and registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations with at least 36 months of seniority and a minimum of 75% of athletes registered as residents in the municipality. In the case of individual athletes, registration as a resident in Atarfe, a valid federation license, and having achieved at least one result in an official championship recognized by an Andalusian, Spanish, or international federation are required.

The deadline is ten calendar days from the publication of the summary in the B.O.P. Processing is electronic through the Electronic Office of the Most Excellent City Council of Atarfe, and the forms are available on the municipal website. Late submission, the use of non-standardized forms, or non-electronic submission when mandatory are grounds for inadmissibility, and each entity or athlete may submit only one application.

Scale: students, federated members, and sporting merits

The evaluation criteria for the sports schools line prioritize the number of students —up to 150 points—, the number of federated athletes —125 points—, monitors with a federated license —75 points— and their technical training —50 points—. Added to this are the number of federated categories (40 points), the volume of justified economic activity (30 points), seniority in the RAED (15 points), the integration of athletes with a recognized disability equal to or greater than 33% (15 points), and the promotion of women’s sports (10 points).

In the line for individual athletes, points are awarded for the best result in Andalusian, Spanish, or international championships (up to 70 points), additional outstanding results (30 points), the status of High-Level Athlete or High-Performance Athlete (15 and 10 points), and affiliation with clubs in the municipality (10 points).

Eligible expenses and justification

Expenses incurred between July 1, 2026, and June 30, 2027, will be eligible for subsidies. For schools, insurance, competition expenses, sports equipment, uniforms, payment of monitors, official courses, medical services, computer equipment, and printing are permitted; in the case of athletes, clothing and equipment, licenses and insurance, official training, registration for federated events, and physiotherapy.

Payment will be made in a single advance payment via bank transfer, and the justification must be submitted in the month following the completion of the activity, with a deadline of July 31, 2027.

The call reaches the local sporting fabric with a very tight schedule: ten calendar days force the clubs of Atarfe to have the technical and economic documentation ready before publication. The bulk of the 100,000 euros is directed toward the schools, consolidating the funding for municipal grassroots sports for the 2026-2027 season.
