Asturias distributes 72,270 euros among youth associations for 2026
Por FactBox Admin

The Regional Ministry of Territorial Planning, Urbanism, Housing and Citizens’ Rights of the Principality of Asturias has granted 72,270.86 euros to youth associations-sections and entities providing services to youth for the implementation of programs during 2026. The decision is detailed in the Resolution of July 27, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias (BOPA) No. 164, of August 25, 2026, with code 2026-06893, and signed by the regional minister Ovidio Zapico González.
The aid is framed within the Law of the Principality of Asturias 6/2019, of March 29, on Youth Participation and Promotion, which encourages youth associationism in coordination with the Youth Council of the Principality of Asturias. The call, approved by Resolution of March 24, 2026 (extract in the BOPA of April 1, 2026), allocated a total expenditure of 84,000 euros charged to budget application 13.09-323A-484.041, under a competitive bidding process.
Two subsidy programs
The distribution is organized into two lines, with a total of 72,270.86 euros effectively granted:
- Activities, services for youth and internal operations: 42,000 euros (€5,798.28 to youth associations and €36,201.72 to youth sections and service-providing entities).
- Hiring of unemployed youth under 30 years of age: 30,270.86 euros (€5,201.72 to youth associations and €25,069.14 to sections and providing entities).
Among the beneficiary entities are the Asociación Juvenil Abierto Hasta el Amanecer, the Asociación Juvenil La Folixaria, the Fundación Centro Español de Solidaridad Asturias-Proyecto Hombre-CESPA, the Asociación Cuantayá, the Asociación Flechazu, the Organización Juvenil Española, the Asociación Juvenil Nikaku-Dan, the Asociación Integración de Personas con Discapacidad Psíquica (AGISDEM), the Fundación Secretariado Gitano, the Asociación de Dinamización Comunitaria El Telar, the Asociación Asamble Moza d’Asturies, the Asociación Cultural Abierto Asturias, the Asociación Cultural Youropia, the Asociación Cultural Norte Joven Mieres, the Asociación Juvenil Grupo Scout Keltikhe 635, and the Fundación ADSIS.
Rejections and adjustments
The resolution rejects several projects for various reasons:
- The Asociación Juvenil Eón (NIF G25990136) has its three projects rejected for not being registered in the Registry of Youth Participation Entities of the Principality of Asturias (REPJPA) at the time of the publication of the call summary.
- The Fundación por la Acción Social Mar de Niebla (NIF G52532124) is excluded due to incompatibility, having obtained another grant charged to the same budget allocation.
- The Asociación Acción Católica General de la Diócesis de Oviedo has its project “Convivencias” dismissed due to the exhaustion of available credit.
Additionally, the evaluation committee excluded non-eligible expenses (own personnel, internal operations, per diems) and applied the limit of 8,000 euros per beneficiary, proportionally reducing the amounts that exceeded this limit.
Deadlines and justification
Payment will be made via bank transfer upon the signing of the resolution, with non-profit entities being exempt from providing a guarantee. Beneficiaries must submit reports and proof of expenditure before February 1, 2027, with only expenses generated in 2026 being admitted, and they may be subject to inspection visits by the Asturian Youth Institute.
The measure strengthens the Asturian youth associative fabric and facilitates the incorporation of young people into political, social, and cultural life, while promoting the hiring of unemployed persons under 30, a group particularly affected by job precariousness.
