Asturias launches second call for the Rural Tourism Voucher with 300,000 euros

The Regional Ministry of Presidency, Demographic Challenge, Equality and Tourism of the Principality of Asturias has published the second call for grants to stimulate and incentivize consumption in rural accommodations through the Asturias Rural Tourism Voucher 2026. The call, approved by Resolution of September 1, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias (BOPA) number 173, dated September 7, 2026, with code 2026-07371 and BDNS Identif. 927613.

The program allocates a total of 300,000 euros for vouchers of 75 euros, which the user co-finances with another 75 euros, and which can be redeemed at participating rural accommodations until December 31, 2026. The downloading of vouchers by users will begin on September 16, 2026, on the designated website, until the funds for the call are exhausted.

Purpose and Beneficiaries

The purpose of the call is to stimulate demand for rural tourism accommodation products and strengthen the sector’s position in the Principality of Asturias. Adults who stay in rural tourism accommodations participating in the program and acquire the service through a single type of discount voucher may be beneficiaries.

• Each beneficiary will have a voucher of €75, co-financed by the user with another €75.
• Each person may acquire a maximum of 2 discount vouchers.
• The voucher may be used in one or several participating accommodations until the balance is exhausted.

Deadlines and Processing

The deadline for accommodations to join the program will be ten calendar days from the day following the publication of the summary in the BOPA, without prejudice to its possible extension in accordance with Law 39/2015, of October 1, on Common Administrative Procedure. The downloading of vouchers by users will begin on September 16, 2026, and will continue until stocks are exhausted.

• Accommodation joining: ten calendar days from publication.
• Voucher download: from September 16, 2026.
• Voucher redemption: until December 31, 2026.

Regulatory Bases and Management

The regulatory bases were approved by Resolution of May 15, 2025, from the same regional ministry, published in the BOPA of May 27, 2025. The amount is financed through budget allocation 1108.751A.477004. Joining the program and downloading vouchers require prior registration on the platform bonosturismoruralasturias.com.

The resolution was signed in Oviedo on September 1, 2026, by the counselor Gimena Llamedo González. With this second call, the Asturian Executive reinforces support for rural tourism during the low season, a key sector for the economy of the inland councils, offering travelers a direct incentive to stay in participating establishments before the end of the year.
