Asturias corrects the grants for business events for 2026

The Regional Ministry of Science, Industry and Employment of the Principality of Asturias has published in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias (BOPA) number 167, dated August 28, 2026, the correction of errors for the resolution granting subsidies for the holding of events, conferences, forums, and business meetings within the Asturian territorial area during 2026. The document, with registration code 2026-07258, corrects a material error noted in the original publication.
The corrected resolution, dated August 20, 2026, had been initially published in BOPA number 166, dated August 27, 2026, with code 2026-07100. The correction is due to the fact that the tables in Annexes I and II had insufficient resolution, therefore proceeding to their full republication.
Aid Beneficiaries
Annex I lists the granted applications, distributed across three categories of entities. Among the non-profit entities, the following stand out:
- Centro Innovación Carrio (file AYUD/2026/28694), €8,264.46, 100% intensity.
- Asociación Cluster de Empresarios de Turismo (AYUD/2026/28658), €4,234.50.
- Asociación Independiente de Jóvenes Empresarios del Principado (AYUD/2026/28940), €4,203.31.
- Federación de Empresarias y Directivas Asturianas (AYUD/2026/28692), €10,000.00.
- Fundación Novagob (AYUD/2026/28659), €3,297.73, with an intensity of 54.28%.
Companies and Local Corporations
In the private companies section, the granted aid reaches up to €9,650.00:

Among the local corporations, the City Council of Corvera de Asturias (AYUD/2026/28663) receives €3,201.93 and the City Council of Tineo (AYUD/2026/28949) €8,500.00, both with an intensity of 100%.
Denied Applications
Annex II details the denied applications and their causes. Among the reasons are the holding of events outside the eligible period, failure to comply with the purpose of the call, insufficient budget credit, or a score below the required minimum. Thus, for example, the Asociación Amigos de Grado (AYUD/2026/28943), the Asociación Fontes del Porcía (AYUD/2026/28667), and the Federación Española de Centros de Enseñanza de Idiomas (AYUD/2026/28649) were rejected for being held outside the eligible period, while the Asociación de Franquicias y Emprendedores del Principado de Asturias (AYUD/2026/28687) was rejected due to insufficient credit.
The correction ensures the transparency and rigor of a procedure that distributes public funds among entities that promote Asturian business activity. With the republication of the annexes, the beneficiaries and the general public have clear and legible information regarding the destination of these grants, which are key to the region’s productive fabric.
