Arucas formalizes the permanent contract of a municipal architect

The Most Excellent City Council of Arucas has approved the formalization of a permanent employment contract to fill an Architect position, by means of Decree number 2026-4271, dated August 7, 2026. The decision, adopted by the Central Area through the Human Resources Section, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas number 100, dated August 21, 2026, page 14908 (reference 1.747.711).

The contract is formalized with the candidate Mr. Jorge Antonio Ramos Pérez, who has passed the selection process convened to fill, via permanent labor personnel, three Architect positions of professional group A, subgroup A1.

Stabilization Framework

The hiring is part of the Public Employment Offer for the Stabilization of Temporary Employment of the Arucas City Council, protected under Additional Provision 6 of Law 20/2021, of December 28, on urgent measures for the reduction of temporality in public employment. The objective of this process is to convert positions that were being held temporarily into permanent ones.

The candidate is definitively assigned to the job position according to the order obtained in the selection process, with the following data:

Deadline and Signing Conditions

The signing of the permanent employment contract must take place within a maximum period of one month, counted from the day following the publication of the resolution in the official gazette. If the candidate does not sign the contract within said period, they will lose all rights derived from the selection process and the granted hiring, except in cases of proven force majeure.

Furthermore, the interested party must communicate the date on which they will carry out the signing at least one day in advance, which cannot be done on the same day as the communication. On the day of the signing, they must report to the Human Resources Section at 08:00 hours to effectively join their position that same day.

Effects and Subsequent Procedures

The resolution will be included in the electronic file of the Organic Personnel Staff at the service of the administration, for the purpose of declaring the position reserved for labor personnel with code 35.106/2, titled Senior Technician AE Architect, as filled by the Plenary when the staff for the next fiscal year is approved. The agreement will be reported to the Plenary in the next session, in accordance with article 42 of Royal Decree 2568/1986.

An appeal against the agreement may be filed as a labor lawsuit before the Social Court within two months of its publication, pursuant to Article 69 of Law 36/2011, of October 10, regulating the Social Jurisdiction. The announcement is signed by the mayor, Juan Jesús Facundo Suárez, in Arucas, on August 12, 2026.
