Arteixo amends the bases and expands the profile for civil protection

The Arteixo City Council has amended the regulatory bases of the selection process for the permanent filling of two fixed-term labor positions for civil protection operator (emergency agent), corresponding to the OEP 2026. The correction, approved by Decree No. 2131/2026 of August 11, 2026, was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña number 157, on August 19, 2026, for general knowledge and timely effects.

The amendment replaces the A2 driver’s license requirement with the type C license, both in the base of required requirements and in the documentation that applicants must provide. With this change, the council expands the range of candidates who can compete in the selection process, which is processed through the competitive examination procedure (concurso-oposición) in the open category.

The correction affects two bases of the Mayoral Decree No. 2078/2026, of August 4, 2026, by which the call and the regulatory bases of the process are approved:

• Second Base (Required Requirements): where possession of B and A2 driver’s licenses was required, the ESO Graduate qualification or equivalent is now required along with B and C driver’s licenses.
• Third Base (Applications and submission deadlines): the documentation to be provided changes from “copy of B and A2 driver’s licenses” to “copy of B and C driver’s licenses”.
