Arteixo opens study grants for 2026/2027 with 28,000 euros

The Arteixo City Council opens the call for study grants for the 2026/2027 academic year, aimed at families with students registered as residents in the municipality. The decision, adopted by the Department of Equality, Social Services, Health, and Education, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña number 166, dated Tuesday, September 1, 2026, through two call extracts.
The two lines of grants, for mobility and for books and educational materials, have a total budget of 28,000 euros, chargeable to item 320.48903. The regulatory bases were approved by the Plenary of the Corporation in the session of June 25, 2020, and published in BOP no. 99, on July 2, 2020, under Law 38/2003, of November 17, the general law on subsidies.
Books and educational materials line
Line 2, for books and educational materials, is endowed with 15,000 euros and is aimed at families registered in Arteixo with minors under their care enrolled in centers supported by public funds in the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (4th, 5th, and 6th years of preschool). The objective is to finance the acquisition of books and educational materials for students residing in the municipality during the school year.

Mobility line
Line 3, for mobility, has 13,000 euros available and benefits students of Baccalaureate, Vocational Training, Artistic and Musical Education, and university studies in public centers within the Galician territory. Those registered in Arteixo who live more than two kilometers from the educational center or the place where they carry out their internships may apply.

Processing and signature
The extracts, signed on August 26, 2026, by the Councilor for Equality, Social Services, Health, and Education, Inés Ramos Álvarez, are published in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003. The full text of each call can be consulted in the National Subsidy Database (www.infosubvenciones.es).
The call represents direct support for families in Arteixo to face the expenses of the new school year, both in the purchase of books and materials in the early childhood stage and in the travel of students in higher education. With deadlines opening as early as September, interested parties must submit their applications within the periods established for each line.
