Arnes has released for public consultation the routes for fire-fighting vehicles

The Arnes City Council has initially approved the ordinary works report for civil engineering works on strategic roads for fire extinguishing vehicles in the municipality and has submitted it for public information for a period of thirty days. The agreement is contained in Mayoral Decree 2026-0000391, dated October 15, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona on October 26, 2026, with the official reference CVE 2026-09812 and an electronic signature date of October 21, 2026.

The project is titled “Civil engineering works on strategic roads for fire extinguishing vehicles in the municipality of Arnes” and is processed as an ordinary works report, the route that local regulations reserve for actions of lower technical complexity that do not require a full construction project. The initiative is part of the network of tracks and access points that must allow the arrival of trucks and heavy vehicles from emergency services to the forest areas of the municipal district.

The announcement is signed by the mayor, Joaquim Miralles Pegueroles, and bears the validation seal of the Electronic Office of the Entity with the code 5F36A821F117443194DD56EE6A802D43, issued on October 21, 2026, at 08:12:27.

Thirty days to submit allegations

The public information process is open for a period of thirty days starting from the day after the publication of the announcement in the BOPT. With the publication date of October 26, 2026, the consultation period extends until November 25, 2026.

During this period, according to the official text, the following may appear and formulate allegations, suggestions, or claims:

• Any person or entity that may consider themselves interested in the file.
• The owners of estates and lands affected by the action.
• The holders of rights or interests over the roads and access points subject to the works.

The file remains available to interested parties at the electronic office of the Arnes City Council. The announcement published in the gazette also serves as notification for interested parties in cases where personal notification of the granting of the hearing process could not be carried out.

A process supported by local works regulations

The publication is made in accordance with Article 37 of the Regulations for works, activities, and services of local entities, approved by Decree 179/1995, of June 13, in relation to Article 83 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

This is the same route that the city council used a month earlier for another ordinary works project. On September 24, 2026, the BOPT published the announcement for the project “Arrangement of roads with recycled aggregates,” approved by Mayoral Decree no. 2026-356, of September 14, 2026, affecting the camí de les Planetes and the camí dels Horts, and with the same thirty-day public exhibition period (reference CVE 2026-08540).

Fire prevention and forest access

The roads subject to the report are classified as strategic because they must guarantee the passage of fire extinguishing vehicles, a requirement that determines the effectiveness of any operation in the event of a forest fire. The action thus adds to the planning and management instruments for fire risk affecting the municipality and its forest environment.
