Arlanzón approves the rehabilitation of the clinic and a multifunctional space

The Arlanzón City Council approved in an extraordinary session on August 24, 2026, two public works projects totaling more than 516,000 euros: the rehabilitation of the municipal building used as a medical clinic and the urbanization of a multifunctional space, both located on Newton Street. The agreements are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos, number 164, dated August 31, 2026, in section III of Local Administration.

Both projects are open for public inspection at the city council Secretariat for a period of twenty business days, starting from the day following their publication in the gazette, for the submission of claims and allegations. If none are submitted during the exhibition period, the projects will be definitively approved without the need for a new agreement.

Rehabilitation of the medical clinic

The first file, reference BOPBUR-2026-03672, corresponds to the “Basic and execution project for the rehabilitation of the municipal building used as a medical clinic at Newton Street, no. 36, Arlanzón.” The document was drafted by the technical architect Ana Isabel Martínez Sánchez and has a material execution budget of 298,768.06 euros.

The action will allow for the adaptation of the municipal property that houses the municipality’s healthcare services, improving the conditions of the service provided to the local residents.

Urbanization of the multifunctional space

The second file, reference BOPBUR-2026-03673, approves the technical project document for the “Urbanization and adaptation of a multifunctional space, located at Newton Street, number 31, in the municipality of Arlanzón (Burgos).” It was drafted by the Civil Engineer and Engineer of Roads, Canals, and Ports Francisco Rejas Llorente, with a material execution budget of 218,105.82 euros.

The initiative will provide the municipality with a multipurpose space oriented toward neighborhood and community activities.
