Argés announces grants of 100,000 euros for the San Isidro Nursery School

The Argés City Council has announced financial aid for families with children aged 0 to 3 enrolled in the “San Isidro Labrador” Municipal Nursery School during the 2026-2027 academic year. The call, with a maximum total amount of 100,000 euros, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Toledo number 176, dated September 15, 2026, and is registered in the National Grants Database with the identifier BDNS 929112.
The measure, approved by Mayoral Decree No. 1211/2025, of September 22, is based on the regulatory bases published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Toledo number 142, dated July 29, 2020. The amount is financed by the grant awarded by the Department of Education, Culture and Sports of Castilla-La Mancha under Decree 34/2024, of July 2, for direct granting to local entities that own first-cycle nursery schools, supplemented by the council’s own funds.
Objective and beneficiaries
The general objective of the call is to facilitate the reconciliation of work, personal, and family life in the municipality of Argés, while simultaneously promoting equality between men and women. Beneficiaries may be users enrolled in the “San Isidro Labrador” Municipal Nursery School throughout the 2026-2027 school year, on a non-competitive basis.
Amounts by modality
The aid is allocated to each student as a monthly amount that varies according to the attendance modality and the classroom:
- 0-2 years classroom, without breakfast: €115.00 per month.
- 0-2 years classroom, with breakfast: €120.00 per month.
- 0-2 years classroom, siblings, without breakfast: €105.00 per month.
- 0-2 years classroom, siblings, with breakfast: €110.00 per month.
- 2-3 years classroom, without breakfast: €220.00 per month.
- 2-3 years classroom, with breakfast: €230.00 per month.
Deadline and submission of applications
The ordinary submission period is open and spans from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Toledo until July 8, 2027, both inclusive, in accordance with form 174. The specific monthly deadline will end on the 23rd of each month, with the exception of July.
Applications, together with form 170 duly completed and signed (one for each parent), shall be submitted to the General Registry of the Argés City Council or any of the registries authorized by article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
Compatibility and processing
The grant shall be compatible with any other aid, subsidy, resource, or income received for the same purpose from other public entities, provided that the total and concurrent amount does not exceed the total cost of the subsidized service, in accordance with Article 19.3 of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17. The processing and resolution are the responsibility of the Department of Social Affairs and the Mayor’s Office of the city council.
Against the resolution, which exhausts administrative remedies, a motion for reconsideration may be filed within one month before the same body, or a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Toledo within two months. The call is signed in Argés on September 14, 2026, by the mayor, Jesús Guerrero Lorente.
With this line of aid, Argés reinforces its commitment to family reconciliation and equality, alleviating the cost of schooling for the youngest children and facilitating the permanence of families in the municipality throughout the 2026-2027 academic year.
