Arenas del Rey puts the Pantano de los Bermejales Day Center out to tender

The City Council of Arenas del Rey has called, via tender, for the administrative concession of private use of the public domain asset known as the “Day Center”, located in the urban center of the Pantano de los Bermejales. The tender is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada number 173, dated September 8, 2026, and grants a period of fifteen days for the submission of bids.

The call is formalized through Mayoral Resolution No. 2026-0172, dated August 27, 2026, signed by Mayor Pedro Ramos Almenara, and is governed by the Concession Project and the Specifications approved by the City Council itself.

Object and characteristics of the asset

The asset subject to the concession is a municipally-owned property intended for social use, the operation of which is granted through private use of the public domain. Its main characteristics are as follows:

• Name: “Day Center”.
• Location: urban center of Pantano de los Bermejales, municipality of Arenas del Rey (Granada).
• Built area: 126.00 m² on the ground floor.
• Cadastral reference: 0952008VF2905S0001WA.
• Award procedure: tender.

Deadline and method for submitting bids

The deadline for submitting bids will be fifteen days, counting from the day following the publication of the tender announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada. Interested parties may submit their proposals through two channels:

• In person, through the Registry Office of the Arenas del Rey City Council, at its municipal offices.
• Electronically, through the City Council’s Electronic Office, accessible at the address arenasdelrey.sedelectronica.es.

Opening of bids and award

Once the Evaluation Committee is constituted, it will first examine the documentation contained in the first envelope. If correctable errors or omissions are found, interested parties will be required to rectify them within a maximum period of three days.

After this period, the Committee will determine which bidders meet the selection criteria of the Specifications. At the place and time indicated by announcement on the electronic office notice board and in a public act, the list of admitted bidders will be read and the envelopes containing the proposals will be opened. The Committee will analyze the proposals according to the criteria of the Specifications and will formulate the proposal to the competent body for the award.

The Concession Project and the Specifications are available to interested parties on the Electronic Office notice board and, in person, at the City Council offices.

The transfer of the Day Center of Pantano de los Bermejales opens the door to the provision of care and attention services for the local population, with a direct impact on the economic and social activity of Arenas del Rey.
