Arenales de San Gregorio submits its parks ordinance for public exhibition

The City Council of Arenales de San Gregorio has opened the public information period for its new Municipal Ordinance on Parks and Gardens, initially approved by the Plenary Council in an ordinary session held on September 14, 2026. The announcement, number 3055, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real, number 185, dated September 25, 2026, on page 8885, within the local administration section (CITY COUNCILS). Residents have thirty days to examine the text and submit any claims they deem appropriate.

Initial approval and legal coverage

The plenary agreement was adopted in accordance with articles 49 and 70.2 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of Local Regime, and article 56 of the Revised Text of the Local Regime. • The documentation will be available to residents at the municipal offices of the corporation.
• The authenticity of the announcement can be verified at the electronic office https://sede.dipucr.es.

Final approval if no claims are filed

The announcement specifies that, in the event that no claims are presented within the aforementioned period, the Agreement for the approval of the Ordinance shall be understood as definitively approved. In other words, the regulation would be validated without the need for a new express plenary pronouncement on the text, provided that no resident objections are registered during the month of public exhibition.

Impact for residents

The future ordinance expressly establishes for the first time the municipal regime for the use and conservation of parks and gardens in Arenales de San Gregorio, a municipality that until now lacked a specific regulation published in the provincial bulletin. The open process is the final opportunity for residents to influence the content of the text: any allegation submitted within the deadline will require the Plenary to resolve it before final approval, while the absence of claims will close the procedure automatically.
