Arbancón publishes 19 admitted candidates and sets the exam for September 2

The Arbancón City Council has made public the final list of admitted and excluded persons for the creation of a job bank intended for the temporary coverage of the Secretariat-Intervention position for the grouping formed by Arbancón, Arroyo de las Fraguas, Santiuste, and Olmeda de Jadraque. The list, approved by Mayor’s Decree on August 25, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 164, dated August 27, 2026.

The process is part of the selection of interim civil service personnel to cover the Secretariat-Intervention position of the grouping, once the period for correcting applications has concluded and the submitted corrections have been addressed, in accordance with the rules approved by Resolution of the Presidency of the grouping. The final list includes a total of 19 admitted applicants, with no exclusions appearing on the published list.

Practical test and venue

The decree determines the location, date, and time for the practical test corresponding to the competitive phase. The test will be held on September 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the San José Center of the Provincial Council of Guadalajara, located at calle Atienza, number 4.

Once the selection process has begun, subsequent announcements will be made public by the selection body at the venues where the practical test was held, as well as on the electronic headquarters and the Notice Board of the head City Council of the grouping. For greater publicity, the final list is also disseminated in the BOP and on the City Council’s own electronic headquarters.

Relevance for municipal management

The establishment of this job bank is key to the administrative and economic management of the four municipalities that make up the grouping, which share the Secretariat-Intervention figure. The temporary coverage of this position guarantees the continuity of secretariat and intervention services in Arbancón, Arroyo de las Fraguas, Santiuste, and Olmeda de Jadraque, especially in the event of vacancies, absences, or unforeseen needs.

Admitted candidates must arrive punctually for the practical test on September 2, and the selection body will report on the process to the Plenary during its next session. The decree is signed in Arbancón on August 25, 2026, by the mayor, Gonzalo Bravo Bartolomé.
