Arauzo de Miel auctions two lots of forest timber harvesting

The City Council of Arauzo de Miel has called for an auction for the awarding of two timber forestry harvests, according to the announcement published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos number 171, dated September 9, 2026 (reference BOPBUR-2026-03708). The decision stems from the agreement of the Municipal Plenary meeting in an ordinary session on August 26, 2026, and the file is processed under number 183/2026.

The tender, which follows ordinary processing and an auction procedure, covers two timber harvest lots identified as MA/203/E/2026/01 and MA/203/E/2026/02, with a combined net budget of 115,200 euros plus VAT. The announcement is signed by the mayor-president, María Teresa Maté Benito, dated August 27, 2026.

Object and budget of the auction

The object of the contract is the timber forestry harvests, distributed into two independent lots, each with its own tender budget:

• Lot No. 1 (MA/203/E/2026/01): 48,000.00 euros, plus VAT.
• Lot No. 2 (MA/203/E/2026/02): 67,200.00 euros, plus VAT.

The processing is ordinary and the chosen procedure is the auction, which allows bids to be improved upwards from the starting amounts. Bidders must prove economic and financial solvency, as well as technical and professional solvency.

Submission of bids and opening

Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope at the headquarters of the City Council of Arauzo de Miel, at Plaza Mayor number 1, from 11:00 to 13:00 hours, until the last day of the period. The submission period is fifteen business days starting from the day following the insertion of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province, the contractor profile, the procurement platform of the Provincial Council of Burgos, and the State procurement platform.

• If bids are sent by mail, the proposer must justify the postmark date at the Correos office and notify the contracting body of the shipment on the same day.
• Without the concurrence of both requirements, the proposal will not be admitted if it arrives after the final submission day.
• The opening of bids will take place at the City Council of Arauzo de Miel on the third business day following the deadline, at 13:00 hours.

Expenses borne by the successful bidder

The successful bidder will assume the expenses derived from the tender and the execution of the harvest, which include:

• The tender announcement.
• Fees and marking expenses.
• The improvement fund and all expenses deriving from the formalization and execution of the harvest, as detailed in the specifications.
