Aranjuez confirms admitted candidates for eight Local Police positions and calls for exams.

The Aranjuez City Council has approved, through Decree number 2026/4034, of 14 August 2026, the final list of admitted and excluded candidates in the selection process called to fill, by free open competition-examination, eight positions in the Local Police Corps. The resolution is published in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid (BOCM) number 194, of 15 August 2026, in section III of Local Administration, as announcement 01/13.431/26. The first exercise of the examination phase, the psychotechnical tests, will be held next Monday, 17 August.

Selection process and final list

The final list was adopted by the Personnel Department of the riverside town council, signed by the first deputy mayor-personnel delegate, José de Ruz Fernández. The process falls within the employment offer to fill, through the free-turn competition-examination system, the eight vacancies for Local Police officer in Aranjuez.

Psychotechnical tests on 17 August

In accordance with the provisions of Decree no. 2026/3618, of 10 July 2026, which regulated the call, admitted applicants are summoned in a single call to take the psychotechnical tests, the first exercise of the examination phase. Attendance is mandatory and the required documentation must be submitted in original and in force.

• Venue: Pabellón del Polideportivo Municipal “Agustín Marañón”, located at Primero de Mayo, number 4, in Aranjuez.
• Documentation: ID card, passport or driving licence, in original and in force.

Publication and calendar

The announcement warns that the full text of the decree approving the final list is displayed both on the municipal notice board and on the City Council’s electronic employment office, where the test rules may also be consulted. The resolution is dated 14 August 2026 and was signed by José de Ruz Fernández as personnel delegate, with announcement registration number 01/13.431/26.

The publication comes barely two days before the holding of the exercise, a tight schedule that requires applicants to immediately check their status on the list and the instructions for the single call.

The news has a double impact: for applicants, who see their admission confirmed and already know the day, time and place of the first exam; and for local security, since filling these eight positions will allow the Aranjuez Local Police force to be reinforced in the coming months, once the successive phases of the competitive examination process have been completed.
