Aranda de Duero modifies the public price of its municipal nursery school

The Aranda de Duero City Council has opened for public consultation the modification of the ordinance regulating the public price for the provision of the municipal nursery school service, a change that will directly affect the fees paid by user families. The agreement was adopted by the municipal Plenary in a session held on July 30, 2026, and its announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos number 156, dated August 19, 2026 (official reference BOPBUR-2026-03482).

The file will be available for a period of thirty days starting from the day following the insertion of the announcement in the gazette, in accordance with the provisions of the consolidated text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5. During this period, interested parties may examine the file and submit any claims or allegations they deem appropriate.

Purpose of the modification

The ordinance regulates the public price applied for the provision of the municipal nursery school service in Aranda de Duero. The modification agreed upon by the Plenary adjusts the conditions of this tax, the impact of which falls on the monthly fees paid by families with children enrolled in the center.

The process is part of the ordinary procedure for the approval of tax ordinances, which requires prior public exhibition before final approval.

Final approval

If no claims have been submitted after the public consultation period has elapsed, the agreement will be considered definitively approved. The announcement was signed on August 6, 2026, by the mayor, Antonio Linaje Niño.

The modification of the ordinance represents a significant change for families in Aranda de Duero with children enrolled in the municipal nursery school, as it determines the amount of the fees they must pay. The allegations period offers residents the opportunity to participate in the process before the new public price is definitively set.
