Aranda de Duero approves the ACOA 2026 vouchers to boost local commerce.

The Aranda de Duero City Council has submitted to public inspection budget modification number 25/2026, which incorporates into the current year’s budget the nominal subsidies of the ACOA 2026 voucher programme aimed at local commerce. The agreement, initially approved by the municipal Plenary at its session held on 30 July 2026, is published in the Official Bulletin of the Province of Burgos number 153, of 14 August 2026, with reference BOPBUR-2026-03420. Interested parties will have fifteen working days to examine the file and submit claims.
The announcement, included in section III of Local Administration, is issued under the authority of article 169.1 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of 5 March, approving the consolidated text of the Law regulating Local Treasuries. In accordance with that provision, the initial approval of a budget modification requires the file to be subjected to public information before it can become final.
Municipal file 2026/000019293B contains the annex of nominal subsidies for the ACOA 2026 vouchers, a mechanism by which the riverside Council plans to boost shopping in the city’s establishments through discount vouchers subsidised from the municipal budget.
Public inspection and claims procedure
The file may be consulted at the municipal Comptroller General’s Office and on the notice board of the City Council’s electronic headquarters (sede.arandadeduero.es). During the inspection period, those with standing may submit claims to the Plenary, in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 1 and 2 of article 170 of the consolidated text of the Law regulating Local Treasuries.
The procedures established in the announcement are as follows:
- Inspection and claims submission period: fifteen working days from the day following the insertion of the announcement in the Official Bulletin of the Province.
- Submission office: General Registry of the City Council.
- Body to which claims are addressed: Plenary of the corporation.
From initial to final approval
Budget modification number 25/2026, referring to the 2026 budget, will be deemed definitively approved if no claims have been submitted within the aforementioned period. Otherwise, the claims will be examined and resolved by the Plenary before the file is closed.
The document is signed in Aranda de Duero on 4 August 2026 by the Mayor-President, Antonio Linaje Niño, and its publication fulfils the publicity required for this type of credit modification financed by nominal subsidies.
What the ACOA 2026 vouchers involve
Nominal subsidies are grants awarded directly to beneficiaries identified in the budget itself, without the need for a competitive call. In this case, the annex incorporated by amendment 25/2026 provides funding for the ACOA voucher program, designed so that consumers can make their purchases at local businesses in Aranda de Duero with discounts subsidized by the City Council.
The consolidation of the ACOA vouchers in the 2026 budget makes this campaign one of the municipal commitments to sustain local commerce in Ribera del Duero. Final approval, once the allegations period has concluded, will allow the program to be launched and will provide certainty both to participating businesses and to consumers who expect to benefit from the discounts.
