The Government of Aragon and the Repsol group companies that signed the agreement, together with Repsol Servicios Renovables, SAU, have signed Addendum number 1/2026 to the collaboration agreement for the execution of actions regarding the conservation of the Iberian lynx in Aragon. Order PJC/1336/2026, dated September 1, provides for its publication in the Official Gazette of Aragon number 179, dated September 15, 2026.
The addendum was registered in the General Registry of Agreements under number 2026/7/0105 and was signed on August 6, 2026, by the Minister of Environment and Tourism of the Government of Aragon and the representative of Repsol. The order mandating its official dissemination was signed in Zaragoza on September 1, 2026.
Regulatory Framework
The publication is carried out in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 5 and 6 of article 151 of Law 5/2021, of June 29, on the Organization and Legal Regime of the Autonomous Public Sector of Aragon, and in article 13 of Decree 57/2012, of March 7, of the Government of Aragon, which regulates the General Registry of Agreements of the Autonomous Community.

Content of the Addendum
The addendum expands the existing collaboration framework between both parties for the development of actions aimed at the conservation of the Iberian lynx, an emblematic and endangered species, in the Aragonese territory. Among the elements that define the agreement are:
- The extension of the original agreement between the Government of Aragon and the signatory Repsol group companies.
- The incorporation of Repsol Servicios Renovables, SAU as part of the agreement.
- The registration of the addendum in the General Registry of Agreements under number 2026/7/0105.
- The consultation of the full information through the Aragonese agreement registry portal.
Environmental Relevance
The conservation of the Iberian lynx constitutes one of the environmental priorities of Aragon, a community that hosts populations of this endangered species. The public-private collaboration with Repsol allows for the financing and execution of protection, monitoring, and habitat improvement actions for the species, in line with regional and national biodiversity strategies.
The publication of the addendum in the official gazette provides legal certainty to the agreement and guarantees its transparency, as it remains available to the public in the General Registry of Agreements of the Autonomous Community of Aragon.
