Aragón extiende los Puntos Violeta a Huesca y otras nueve localidades

The Official Gazette of Aragon publishes this Wednesday, in issue number 209, the order providing for the publication of the collaboration agreement between the Aragonese Institute for Women and the Huesca City Council for the implementation of “Puntos Violeta” (Purple Points). The regulation is Order PJC/1556/2026, dated October 13, signed by the Vice President and Councilor for Presidency, Justice, Culture and Sport of the Government of Aragon, and the agreement was entered into the General Registry of Agreements under number 2026/6/0457 (official reference BOA20261028019). The agreement was signed on September 16, 2026, by the councilor of the department and the mayor of the Huesca capital.

Ten agreements in a single edition

The same edition of the gazette formalizes identical agreements with nine other municipalities, which join that of Huesca and complete a block of coordinated action:

  • Caspe: Order PJC/1549/2026, registry 2026/6/0450, signed on September 25, 2026.
  • Cuarte de Huerva: Order PJC/1550/2026, registry 2026/6/0451, signed on September 16, 2026.
  • Daroca: Order PJC/1551/2026, registry 2026/6/0452, signed on September 16, 2026.
  • Ejea de los Caballeros: Order PJC/1552/2026, registry 2026/6/0453, signed on September 21, 2026.
  • Épila: Order PJC/1553/2026, registry 2026/6/0454, signed on September 16, 2026.
  • Gallur: Order PJC/1554/2026, registry 2026/6/0455, signed on September 16, 2026.
  • Graus: Order PJC/1555/2026, registry 2026/6/0456, signed on September 30, 2026.
  • Jaca: Order PJC/1557/2026, registry 2026/6/0458, signed on September 16, 2026.
  • Maella: Order PJC/1558/2026, registry 2026/6/0459, signed on September 16, 2026.

All agreements are signed by the Councilor for Presidency, Justice, Culture and Sport and by the mayor of the corresponding city council, and respond to the same objective: the implementation of Puntos Violeta in each municipal district.

How the agreement is published

The ten resolutions are issued under sections 5 and 6 of article 151 of Law 5/2021, of June 29, on the Organization and Legal Regime of the Autonomous Public Sector of Aragon, and article 13 of Decree 57/2012, of March 7, which regulates the General Registry of Agreements of the Autonomous Community. In each case, the order is limited to ordering the publication of the text in the gazette, while the complete information of the agreement—with its clauses and conditions—can be consulted in the regional registry of agreements, to which the ten orders expressly refer.

The resolutions are dated October 13, 2026, in Zaragoza and are signed by delegation by Cristina Asensio Grijalba, technical general secretary of the department, in application of the order of November 28, 2024, from the counselor of Presidency, Economy, and Justice.

A network that was already growing

This Wednesday’s publications are not an isolated case. The Official Gazette of Aragon had already formalized agreements of the same type previously: on October 23, the one for Calanda appeared (Order PJC/1518/2026, registry 2026/6/0447) and on October 26, five more were published, corresponding to Andorra (Order PJC/1525/2026, registry 2026/6/0443), Ateca (Order PJC/1526/2026, registry 2026/6/0444), Barbastro (Order PJC/1527/2026, registry 2026/6/0445), Borja (Order PJC/1528/2026, registry 2026/6/0446) and Calatayud (Order PJC/1529/2026, registry 2026/6/0449). With today’s ten orders, the sequence of publications from recent weeks already reaches about twenty Aragonese town halls.

In parallel, the Aragonese Institute for Women has been publishing other agreements in October with different content but the same purpose, aimed at regions and focused on training actions and prevention and awareness campaigns against gender-based violence within the State Pact against Gender-Based Violence.

Impact for the municipalities

The extension to Huesca, Jaca, Ejea de los Caballeros, Barbastro, Calatayud, Caspe, Graus, or Calanda outlines a network that covers both regional capitals and urban centers as well as small municipalities across the three provinces, with Caspe, Maella, Épila, Gallur, and Daroca among the examples of smaller populations. The formalization in the regional gazette turns each agreement into a verifiable and publicly consultable commitment, and provides the town councils with a stable framework to organize information and care spaces against sexist violence in their localities.
