Aragón opens the application period for grants for multiple and twin births

The Government of Aragon has announced the annual grants for families with children born from multiple or twin births and for those who have adopted or fostered several minors. The call is published in the Official Gazette of Aragon (Boletín Oficial de Aragón) number 184, dated September 22, 2026, through Order DBF/1355/2026, of September 4 (reference BOA20260922011), and the application period runs from October 1 to October 30, 2026.

The regulation is issued under Article 31 of Law 9/2014, of October 23, on Support for Families of Aragon, which obliges the regional Administration to guarantee this call every year, and it complies with the regulatory bases established by Order DBF/1096/2026, of July 10 (published in BOA number 144, of July 28, 2026). The issuing body is the Vice Presidency of the Government and Department of Deregulation, Social Welfare and Family, led by Alejandro Nolasco Asensio, and the processing of the procedure corresponds to the General Directorate of Family, Childhood and Natality.

Two lines of aid: up to 1,200 euros per minor

• Line 1: annual benefit of up to 1,200 euros per son or daughter, maintainable until age 13, for multiple births or adoptions (three or more minors) and for twin births or adoptions in which at least one minor has a recognized disability equal to or greater than 33%.
• Line 2: one-time payment aid of 1,500 euros per family for the birth of two children in the same birth or for the adoption, permanent foster care, or guardianship for adoption purposes of two minors.

For line 1, correction percentages apply based on the annual per capita income of the family unit: 100% up to 6,200 euros, 85% up to 8,500, 70% up to 10,050, 55% up to 12,400, 40% up to 13,950, and 25% up to 15,450 euros; above this figure, the applicant is excluded. In births or adoptions of four or more children, the amount is increased by 15%, and in cases of joint custody, the maximum is 600 euros per minor and applicant. The two lines are incompatible with each other.

Requirements and application deadline

• Legal residence, registration (empadronamiento), and effective residence in a municipality of Aragon at least five years prior to submitting the application.
• All minors must be registered in any municipality of Aragon.
• To be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations and to have no outstanding debts with the Autonomous Community.
• The birth, adoption, fostering, or guardianship must occur between January 1 and September 30, 2026.

Applications should preferably be submitted electronically via the e-Office of the Government of Aragon, under procedure 11773 “Grants for multiple births and adoptions. 2026 Call”, or in person at registration offices. The deadline is from October 1 to 30, 2026.

Budget and resolution

The call has a maximum credit of 491,000 euros charged to item 20020 G/3133/480123/91002 of the 2026 budgets: 215,000 euros for line 1 and 276,000 euros for line 2, which may be increased without the need for a new application period. The resolution is the responsibility of the vice president and counselor and must be notified within a maximum period of three months from the closing of applications; it will be published in the BOA for notification purposes.

The call reaches Aragonese families with a window of only one month to claim grants that can extend until the minors reach adolescence, meaning that submitting the application within the October deadline is decisive to avoid losing the right.
