The service building for the Ripoll regional waste collection center has been approved

The Ripollès County Council has definitively approved the Basic and executive project for the construction of a service warehouse for the county waste collection center in Ripoll, a waste infrastructure project that affects the entire county. The agreement was adopted by Presidency Decree no. 2026/258, dated July 1, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona no. 177, of September 15, 2026 (edict 7899, CVE BOP-2026_0_177_7899).

The project has a base tender budget of €305,930.57, plus €64,245.42 corresponding to 21% VAT, resulting in a total amount of €370,175.99 (three hundred seventy thousand one hundred seventy-five euros and ninety cents), VAT included. The processed file is 2538/2025.

Approval without objections

The project was initially approved and published in the BOP of Girona no. 132, dated July 13, 2026, to be submitted for public information. During the exhibition period, no objections were presented, which allowed the initial approval to be elevated to definitive without modifications.

The publication of the definitive approval is carried out in accordance with the provisions of article 38.2 of Decree 179/1995, of June 13, which approves the Regulation of works, activities, and services of local entities.

An infrastructure for the entire county

The service warehouse of the county waste collection center is a key piece of waste management in Ripollès, as it must provide service to the municipalities of the entire county. The essential data of the action are:
