The training classroom of Baix Empordà has been definitively approved

The Baix Empordà County Council has definitively approved the ordinary public works project to renovate and implement a training classroom at the county’s economic promotion offices. The resolution, adopted by the presidency of the entity, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona (no. 170, of September 3, 2026) with the official reference CVE BOP-2026_0_170_7655, p. 1-1.

The definitive approval comes after the project passed the public exhibition process without any objections, clearing the way for the tendering of the works, which will directly affect training and employment in the county.

A 399,800 euro project

The project was initially approved by Presidency Decree no. 2026-1534, of July 7, 2026, and was drafted by the architects of the technical services of the Architecture and Urban Planning Area of the same county council. The execution budget per contract is 399,800.29 euros (VAT included).

Public exhibition without objections

The project was open for public exhibition for a period of 30 business days, which ended on August 25, 2026. During this period, no objections, suggestions, or claims were submitted, due to which it is considered definitively approved.

The publication is made effective in the BOP, the DOGC, and on the notice board, in accordance with article 38.2 of the Regulation of works, activities, and services of local entities (Decree 179/95, of June 13), for the purposes of its enforceability.

Appeals and deadlines

Against this resolution, which is final and exhausts the administrative route, the following appeals may be filed:

• Contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Girona, within a period of two months from the day following publication.
• Appeal for reversal, optional and preliminary, before the same body that issued the resolution, within a period of one month.

The edict is signed by the acting president, Glòria Marull Coll, on August 26, 2026.

With the definitive approval, the Baix Empordà County Council can move forward with the tendering and execution of works that will provide the county with a specific space for training, at a time when professional qualification and labor insertion are key for the local economic fabric.
