Urbanization project for execution unit number one approved

The City Council of Pilar de la Horadada has initially approved the project for the completion of urbanization works for execution unit no. 1 of its General Urban Development Plan (PGOU), according to the edict published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante (BOP) no. 207, dated October 30, 2026, section III. Local Administration. The agreement was adopted by the Local Government Board in a session on October 20, 2026, and the document is now subject to public review for a period of thirty days.

The disseminated text is an edict from the City Council of Pilar de la Horadada that publicizes the municipal agreement and opens it for consultation by all affected persons and organizations. The public exhibition does not constitute the final approval of the project: it is the preliminary procedure that allows for the examination of the document and the submission of allegations within the fixed period.

Execution unit no. 1 is one of the land management areas delimited by the municipality’s PGOU, such that the completion of urbanization project defines the works necessary to complete the urbanization of that area. During this period, affected persons and organizations may consult the project and formulate any observations they deem appropriate. The agreement is adopted, according to the text itself, “so that it can be consulted by the affected persons and organizations.”

The edict enables two ways to consult the technical document:

• The Infrastructure Area of the City Council of Pilar de la Horadada, in person.
• The municipal Electronic Office, through the link published in the announcement itself.

Access to the digital copy is carried out via the link indicated in the edict, hosted on the municipal domain (cloud.pilardelahoradada.org).

Who signs the announcement

The document is signed by the Mayor-President, José María Pérez Sánchez, “in Pilar de la Horadada, as of the date of signing of the document.” The announcement is inserted in the Local Administration section of the provincial gazette, which collects the acts of the city councils of the province of Alicante.

The edict closes with the usual publicity formula: “Made public for general knowledge and for the appropriate purposes,” without the text including further determinations regarding the technical content of the project or its execution cost.

Impact for owners and developers

The initial approval of the urbanization completion project is a relevant step for the landowners included in execution unit no. 1 and for the developers operating in the area, as it establishes the document that governs the works pending execution in that area of the municipality. The public information period is the only window provided in this process to review the project and submit allegations before the file continues its course.

Consultation of the full text and the download link has been available since the publication of the announcement in the BOP on October 30, 2026, although the calculation of the thirty days is subject to publication in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana, a detail that should be verified to avoid missing the deadline.
