The land consolidation project for San Román de Hornija has been approved

The Territorial Service of Agriculture, Livestock, and Rural Development of Valladolid has announced the opening of the public information process for the land consolidation project of the San Román de Hornija II (Valladolid) area, approved by Resolution on July 31, 2026. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León number 161, dated August 20, 2026, and opens a one-month period for affected owners to submit allegations.

The area was declared of public utility and urgent execution by Agreement 15/2019, of March 14, published in BOCyL number 53, of March 18, 2019. With the approval of the project, the public exhibition phase now begins, prior to the material execution of the consolidation.

Deadline and form of allegations

The one-month period to formulate allegations begins to count the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León. During this period, all those affected by the land consolidation may present the observations they deem appropriate regarding the project submitted for public information.

• The project is displayed on the notice board of the San Román de Hornija City Council.
• The Approval Resolution and the necessary documentation are available at the City Council itself.
• The documentation can also be consulted on the website of the Junta de Castilla y León, in the Rural Development–Land Consolidation section, within the San Román de Hornija II area.

The action is part of the agricultural land management policy of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Environment, and Environmental Policy, which acts through the Territorial Service of Agriculture, Livestock, and Rural Development of Valladolid. Land consolidation aims to group scattered estates into more rational farming units, improving the competitiveness of the agricultural holdings in the area.

The announcement was signed in Valladolid on August 4, 2026, by the head of the Territorial Service, Óscar Sayagués Manzano.
