Rehabilitation of the King's Tower of Oropesa del Mar approved

The Provincial Council of Castellón has definitively approved the technical project for the rehabilitation works of the Torre del Rey de Oropesa del Mar in its phase I, a heritage file that proceeds with a contract budget of 99,999.99 euros and an execution period of four months. The resolution is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Castellón number 110, dated September 12, 2026, with the reference 04031-2026-U.
The definitive approval comes after the public exhibition process: the project was submitted for public information for twenty business days from its publication in BOP number 95, dated August 8, 2026, and since no claims were filed within that period, it is considered definitively approved.
Origin of the file
The starting point of the procedure is the Decree of the Deputy Delegate for Contracting and Central Purchasing number 2026-2815, dated July 30, 2026, by which the technical project of the works was taken into consideration. The file is processed by the Treasury, Contracting, and Central Purchasing area of the provincial institution.
The economic and technical data of the project are as follows:
- Contract budget: 99,999.99 euros.
- Taxable base: 82,644.62 euros.
- Applied VAT: 21%.
- Execution period: 4 months.

Processing and approval
The project remained in public exhibition for twenty business days starting from its publication in BOP number 95, dated August 8, 2026. After this period passed without any claims being registered, the file was definitively approved, in accordance with the procedure established for this type of work.
The resolution is signed in Castellón on September 7, 2026, by the Deputy Delegate for Contracting and Central Purchasing, María de los Ángeles Pallarés Cifre.
