Final list of health sub-inspectors approved: exam on November 28

The General Directorate of Public Service of the Government of La Rioja has declared the approval of the final list of applicants admitted and excluded from the selective tests for Sanitary Sub-inspector (FA.11/24-26) and has set the date for the first exercise. The decision is formalized in Resolution 2474/2026, of September 18, published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 185, of September 25, 2026, with official reference BOR-A-20260925-II–1099 (pages 16355 and 16356).

The process derives from Resolution 1400/2026, of June 16, from the Ministry of Finance, Public Governance, Digital Society and Government Spokesperson, which called for open competition tests to fill vacant positions in the Sanitary Scale of the Middle Grade Faculty Body of Special Administration (Official Gazette of La Rioja number 113, of June 17, 2026). The provisional list was approved via Resolution 2106/2026, of August 17, from the General Directorate of Public Service (Official Gazette of La Rioja number 169, of September 3, 2026), which opened a period of ten business days to correct applications.

Sixteen admitted and one excluded

Following the correction period, the final list includes 16 admitted persons, one more than in the provisional list, and one excluded. The admitted applicants are:

Annex II lists the only excluded person, Eduardo Hernández Del Río, with three causes for exclusion: the required qualification is not on record (14), failure to electronically attach the negative report of rejections (96), and failure to prove income lower than the national minimum wage (98).

Date, time and place of the first exercise

The first exercise will be held on November 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at the IES Cosme García, in Logroño (La Rioja). To take the test, all applicants must be provided with a national identity document, driver’s license, or passport that proves their identity beyond doubt.

Background and appeal process

The call for applications is governed by clause 5 of the call resolution and by Article 17, section d), of Decree 51/2023, of July 14, which establishes the organic structure of the department. The composition of the qualifying board was already modified by Resolution 2004/2026, of August 28, published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja on September 2, 2026. The resolution is signed by the Director General of Public Service, Ángel Sainz Yangüela, and does not exhaust administrative remedies: an administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) may be filed before the Minister of Finance, Public Governance, Digital Society and Government Spokesperson within one month from the day following its publication.

The publication closes the admission phase of the selection process and provides the candidates with a firm date to prepare for the first exercise, while the department completes the healthcare staff of La Rioja with the announced positions.
