Antas de Ulla publishes the provisional list of admitted persons for the library

The City Council of Antas de Ulla has published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo the provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates for the selection process to fill one permanent labor staff position as auxiliary technical director of the municipal public library. The resolution, signed by the mayor María Pilar García Porto, appears in issue number 205 of the BOP, dated September 8, 2026, under reference R. 2377.

The selection process was called via a system of competitive examination and open access, in accordance with the bases approved and published in the BOP of Lugo on July 23, 2026 (no. 167). The mayor acts by virtue of the powers conferred upon her by Article 21 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of the Local Regime, and Article 61 of Law 5/1997, of July 22, of the Local Administration of Galicia.

Provisional list of admitted candidates

A total of 22 people were provisionally admitted to the selection process, with no excluded applicants recorded. The complete list of admitted candidates is as follows:

Deadline for claims

Interested parties have a period of five business days, counted from the publication of the announcement in the BOP, to file claims or make the appropriate amendments. The list will also be published on the notice board and on the electronic headquarters of the City Council of Antas de Ulla, so that applicants can check their status and, if applicable, correct any issues in the documentation submitted.

Galician language test

Only one of the admitted persons, Irene Mendoza Torecilla, must take the Galician language test, while the remaining 21 are exempt from this test. The exemption is expressly stated in the published provisional list, along with the identity document of each applicant, allowing the identity of each admitted person to be verified.

The publication of this provisional list constitutes a key step in the selection process to fill a technical position at the municipal public library, an essential service for the municipality. Once the claims period has elapsed, the list will become final and will lead to the following phases of the selection process, which will culminate in the filling of the position under the permanent labor staff regime.
