Andalucía convoca ayudas de desplazamiento para alumnado de Formación Profesional

The General Directorate for Vocational Training and Lifelong Learning of the Ministry of Education of the Regional Government of Andalusia (Junta de Andalucía) has announced, on a competitive basis, travel grants for Vocational Training students undertaking the professional module of Training in Work Centers (FCT) or the Company or Equivalent Body Training Phase (FFEOE) for grades D and E during the 2025/2026 school year. The call, with a budget of 3,739,187.37 euros, is published in the Official Gazette of the Regional Government of Andalusia (BOJA) number 201, dated October 16, 2026, via the Resolution of October 7, 2026 (official reference 00344827), signed by the Director General María Inmaculada Troncoso García.

Regulatory Bases and European Framework

The call is governed by the Order of July 15, 2026, published in BOJA number 140, dated July 22, 2026, which establishes the regulatory bases for these grants and delegates the authority to issue the annual call resolution to the head of the General Directorate competent in Vocational Training. The same gazette includes the summary of the resolution (official reference 00344828), with identification number BDNS 934293 in the National Grants Database.

The grants are co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) within the framework of the ESF+ Andalusia Program 2021-2027, Priority 3 “Education and Training,” and are funded through Service 16 of budget program 42D. The regulation is issued under the Legislative Decree 1/2010, of March 2, and Decree 194/2026, of July 30, regarding the organic structure of the Ministry of Education.

Distribution of Credit by Province

The maximum available amount totals 3,739,187.37 euros, distributed among the eight Andalusian provinces:

  • Almería: 277,758.78 euros.
  • Cádiz: 554,744.21 euros.
  • Córdoba: 370,611.41 euros.
  • Granada: 492,051.93 euros.
  • Huelva: 222,774.14 euros.
  • Jaén: 238,215.21 euros.
  • Málaga: 619,808.08 euros.
  • Sevilla: 963,223.61 euros.

Unused credits in a territorial area may be reassigned through a complementary granting resolution, respecting the order of priority.

Amounts, Requirements, and Deadlines

Beneficiaries may include individuals enrolled in basic, intermediate, and higher-level training cycles, as well as in Vocational Training specialization courses supported by public funds, who have completed the FCT or the FFEOE for the 2025/2026 course. The individual amount is calculated based on the number of days—up to a maximum of one hundred—the distance of the one-way trip, and the current rate per kilometer, and is adjusted according to the per capita income of the household unit:

  • Tier 1, income lower than 0.25 IPREM: 100% of the base amount.
  • Tier 2, up to 0.5 IPREM: 80%.
  • Tier 3, up to 0.75 IPREM: 60%.
  • Tier 4, up to 1 IPREM: 40%.
  • Territorial factor of 0.4 for students from municipalities with low population density, listed in the annex by code from the National Statistics Institute.
  • Additional bonus of 0.4 for students with a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%.

No grant may be lower than 100 euros or higher than 1,000 euros. Applications shall be submitted via electronic form through the Virtual Secretariat of the educational centers within seven business days from the day following the publication of the call. The maximum resolution period is six months, and the justification corresponds to the public centers and subsidized private centers, acting as collaborating entities, through the Séneca Information System.

Impact for families

The call reaches thousands of Andalusian Vocational Training students who must pay for their own travel to the company where they complete their practical training, an expense that is particularly burdensome in rural areas. The provincial distribution of the credit and the territorial factor of 0.4 for low-density municipalities reinforce the social orientation of grants that require having completed at least 80% of the planned days and are processed entirely electronically.
