Andacollo sets November for the auction of unpaid mining concessions

The Andacollo Court of First Instance and Guarantee has scheduled for November 27, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., the auction of mining concessions with unpaid fees in case C-41-2026, captioned Regional Treasury of Coquimbo vs. Codelco Chile. The resolution was issued on July 24, 2026, and signed by Judge Pía Alejandra Droghetti Fuentes. The act is published in the Official Mining Bulletin of the Official Gazette of the Republic of Chile, number 44,553, dated Thursday, September 17, 2026, under official reference CVE 2869056.

The Official Mining Bulletin is the special supplement of the Official Gazette in which claims, manifestations, survey requests, and judgment extracts from the sector are published. The publication of this resolution and the respective lists is ordered in accordance with Article 147 of the Mining Code, which requires it to be done on two different days and with sufficient advance notice of the auction.

The lists were issued by the General Treasury of the Republic on 09/07/2026, for the period 03/01/2026-02/28/2027, and cover the commune of Andacollo. In total, they comprise 54 concessions: 13 exploration and 41 exploitation concessions with unpaid fees.

Requirements and location of the auction

The public auction will be held in person at the premises of the Andacollo Court of First Instance and Guarantee, located at Urmeneta St. No. 743, Andacollo. The conditions for participation are as follows:

• Every bidder must have an active State ClaveÚnica for the eventual signing of the auction record.
• Interested parties must send legible proof of having deposited sufficient guarantee to jlyg_andacollo_remates@pjud.cl, with a copy to jlyg_andacollo@pjud.cl.
• The submission must include the bidder’s identification, case number, email, and telephone number.
• The deadline expires at 2:00 p.m. on the business day prior to the date set for the auction.
• The auction terms presented by the plaintiff will be considered approved if they are not objected to within the third day.

Codelco Chile’s concessions

The list of exploration concessions with unpaid fees includes seven holdings from Codelco Chile, RUT 61704000-K, all named JADABA and located in the commune of Andacollo:

• JADABA J 1 (national role 0410405938): $1,721,304 owed, 24 UTM.
• JADABA J 2 (0410405946): $430,326, 6 UTM.
• JADABA J 4 (0410406071): $4,303,260, 60 UTM.
• JADABA J 5 (041040608K): $2,581,956, 36 UTM.
• JADABA J 6 (0410406098): $1,290,978, 18 UTM.
• JADABA J 7 (0410406101): $860,652, 12 UTM.
• JADABA J 8 (041040611K): $3,442,608, 48 UTM.

The amount owed for these seven concessions totals $14,631,084, equivalent to 204 UTM.

Scope of the lists

The exploration list also includes concessions from other holders, such as DINA RUIS (Contreras Santander Luis), ISABEL and KYPROS (Bustamante Zamponi Eduardo R.), LOS TRES PORFIADOS (SLM Los Mineros Porfiados 1 An), MERCEDES (Mundaca Mura Cristian Eugenio), and MISTERIO UNO (García Troncoso Guillermo).

The exploitation list, with 41 concessions, incorporates properties such as ALONDRA, ANITA, AZOR 1/6, BERTA, BLANCA 01, CAROL PREUSS 1/7, EL RESGUARDO 1/13, PERRO BLANCO 1 1 AL 81, and ROSARIO DOS DEL 1 AL 20, among others, with disbursed amounts ranging from $6,989 to $1,397,780. The lists are signed by Marcelo Lagos Vodanovic, regional director and acting treasurer of the Regional Treasury of Coquimbo.

The auction opens a concrete opportunity for potential bidders from the mining sector in the Andacollo area and, at the same time, pressures delinquent holders: those who do not regularize their patents before November 27, 2026, may lose the concession in the public auction, in a procedure governed by the Mining Code and published in the Official Mining Bulletin.
