Expansion of the Cerredo LPG plant opens for public consultation

The Department of Science, Industry and Employment of the Principality of Asturias has opened for public consultation the request for administrative authorization and the approval of the execution project for the expansion of the LPG storage plant in the Cerredo nucleus, in the municipality of Degaña. The action, processed under file AUTO/2026/80476 (300080/RED), is published in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias (BOPA) number 170, dated September 2, 2026.

The procedure is opened under article 46 bis of Law 34/1998, of October 7, on the Hydrocarbons Sector, and allows interested parties to consult the technical documentation and submit allegations within a period of 30 business days starting from the day following the publication of the announcement.

The Request and the Technical Project

The promoter of the initiative is NED Suministro GLP, S. A. U., with registered offices at Plaza de Euskadi 5, 23rd floor, postal code 48009, in Bilbao (Vizcaya). The project accompanying the request is signed by Mr. Mario Chamorro Rebollo, Industrial Technical Engineer, member number 6989, with visa number 202601834, dated August 4, 2026, issued by the Official College of Industrial Technical Engineers of the Principality of Asturias.

The facilities included in the project include:

• Expansion of the LPG plant (MOP 20 bar): one 16 m³ tank.
• Connection between tanks (MOP 20 bar): 15 meters of Ø1¼" steel in liquid phase and Ø2" steel in gas phase.

The budget for the action amounts to 48,302.94 euros.

Consultation and Submission of Allegations

Interested parties may consult the technical documentation submitted in digital format by the promoter on the Notice Board of the Electronic Office of the Principality of Asturias, at the address sede.asturias.es/tablon-electronico-de-anuncios, in the section corresponding to the Department of Science, Industry and Employment.

During the period of 30 business days, any allegations deemed appropriate may be submitted in the manner provided for in article 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, addressed to the Vice-Department of Industry, Fluids and Metrology Service, at Plaza de España 1, 3rd floor, 33007-Oviedo.
