Ames expón o padrón da taxa de axuda no fogar

The Ames City Council presents to the public the tax roll for the fee for the provision of the Home Help Service, corresponding to the period of August 2026, approved by Mayoral Decrees of September 7, 2026. The announcement, number 2026/5877, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña number 174, of September 11, 2026, and serves as a collective notification for the interested parties.

The public exhibition allows users of the service to examine and, if applicable, contest their settlements during the voluntary payment period, which runs from September 16 to November 17, 2026, both dates inclusive.

The edict includes two tax rolls: that of the fee for the provision of the home help service in free competition and the one corresponding to the dependency modality, both for the period of August 2026. This action is based on article 102.3 of Law 58/2003, of December 17, General Tax Law, in application of article 12 of Legislative Royal Decree 2/2004, of March 5, which approved the Recast Text of the Law regulating local treasuries.

How and where to pay

Payment shall be made at any office of the collaborating banking entities, using the receipts that will be sent by ordinary mail to the declared address of the taxpayer. Those who do not receive the payment instrument will have the same period to request it and pay the debt, as non-receipt does not exempt them from the obligation to pay.

Duplicate receipts can be obtained until November 17, 2026, at the indicated municipal offices.

Appeals and consequences of non-payment

Against the debts recorded in the tax rolls, interested parties may file an appeal for reversal (reposición) before the Mayor’s Office within one month from the day following the end of the public exhibition, and a contentious-administrative appeal before the corresponding court within two months if the reversal is expressly resolved, or within six months if it is not resolved. The expiration of the voluntary period without satisfying the debt will initiate the enforcement procedure, including any applicable surcharges, late-payment interest, and costs.

The publication of this tax roll directly affects the users of the home help service in Ames, who must be mindful of the collection deadline to avoid surcharges and interest. The announcement, signed by Mayor José Blas García Piñeiro, constitutes the official means of collective notification of the settlements for the period of August 2026.
