Por FactBox Admin

The Alovera City Council has opened the process to fill four Local Police officer positions, which are currently vacant in its personnel staff. The decision is formalized through two Mayoral resolutions dated August 20, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 162, on August 25, 2026.
The open competitive examination call is approved by Mayoral Resolution number 2026-2180, while the mobility call is approved by Mayoral Resolution number 2026-2181. Both are framed within Law 8/2002, of May 23, on the Coordination of Local Police of Castilla-La Mancha and Decree 110/2006, of October 17, which approves its implementing regulation, in the wording current after Decree 37/2026, of July 7.
Two positions via open competition
The open access call, regulated in Resolution 2026-2180, offers two Police positions within the Local Police Corps, classified in Group C, Subgroup C1, within the Special Administration Scale, Special Services Subscale, Local Police class.
The application period will be twenty business days, counting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official State Gazette. Among the required criteria are:
- Holding Spanish nationality and being at least 18 years old.
- Possessing driving licenses of classes B and A or A2.
- Having no criminal record for intentional crimes and not having been convicted of crimes against sexual freedom and indemnity.
- Paying €11.00 as an examination fee, with reductions of 50% or 75% for large families and 75% for job seekers.
Two positions via mobility
The second call, approved by Resolution 2026-2181, covers two positions through the mobility system, as provided for in article 22 of Law 8/2002. The number of mobility positions does not exceed those called via open access in the same calendar year, in accordance with article 88.2 of Decree 110/2006.
These positions are classified in Group C, Subgroup C1, Basic Scale, Police category, with a destination supplement level of 19 and an annual specific supplement of €23,382.52 distributed in 14 payments. Environmental conditions include shift work, hazard pay, night shifts, and holidays.
To participate via mobility, it is required to be a career civil servant of the Local Police corps of any municipality in Castilla-La Mancha with a minimum seniority of three years, and to have remained in the last position obtained for at least two years. The application period will be fifteen business days from the publication in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha.
How to submit applications
Applications shall be addressed to the Mayor’s Office-Presidency of the Alovera City Council and may be submitted at the municipal General Registry, through the electronic office (alovera.sedelectronica.es), or via the channels established in Article 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure. Payment of the fee shall be made by bank transfer to account ES76 2100 8764 8222 0003 9627.
Failure to pay the fee within the deadline will result in the non-admission of the applicant, and late payment cannot remedy this defect. After the deadline closes, the Mayor’s Office will publish the provisional lists of admitted and excluded candidates, with a period of ten business days to remedy any defects.
An opportunity for the region
The double call for applications represents a significant public employment opportunity in the Campiña region, both for new applicants wishing to enter the corps for the first time and for officers already active in other municipalities of Castilla-La Mancha who wish to transfer to Alovera. The simultaneous publication of both processes strengthens the municipality’s local security workforce.
