Alovera approves the 124 final candidates for two Local Police positions
Por FactBox Admin

The Alovera City Council has approved the final list of admitted and excluded applicants for the selection process to fill two positions for Local Police Officer via open access, with 124 admitted candidates and 15 excluded. The decision is formalized in Mayoral Resolution number 2026-2985, dated October 29, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 208, dated October 30, 2026, along with the selection board and the call for the first exam.
The rules governing the process were published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 162, dated August 25, 2026, with a subsequent announcement in the Official State Gazette number 218, dated September 3, 2026. The positions, vacant in the Council’s personnel staff, correspond to the career civil servant scale and are filled through the open access system.
The procedure reaches its final phase after Mayoral Resolution number 2026-2709, dated October 7, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 196, dated October 14, opened a period of ten business days for the correction of errors in the provisional list. As a result of this process, numerous applicants who initially appeared as excluded have been incorporated into the final list, while others remain excluded. In parallel, the Alovera City Council is processing another procedure for two positions of the same category through the mobility system, resolved in Mayoral Resolution number 2026-2866, dated October 21.
124 admitted versus 15 exclusions
Annex I of the resolution contains the final list of admitted candidates, headed by Víctor Abad Sierra and Alberto Abajo Mayor and closed by Álvaro Zúñiga Carrasco, with 124 names in total and the national identity document partially hidden in all cases to preserve data protection.
The final list of excluded candidates, with 15 names, details the specific reason for each exclusion, coded with eight causes:
- Missing Annex I.
- Missing proof of fee payment.
- Lack of accreditation for fee reduction.
- Missing ID (DNI).
- Missing Annex VI.
- Application submitted after the deadline.
- Correction submitted after the deadline.
- Incorrect correction.
Among the most frequent reasons in this phase are the missing Annex VI and corrections submitted after the deadline, the latter of which did not appear in the provisional list and is now incorporated into the catalog of exclusions.
Selection board and first exam
Annex II designates the qualifying board, composed of the following members, all with a substitute:
- Presidency: Abraham Martínez Adeva, with Juan Manuel Moreno Calvo as substitute.
- Secretariat: Víctor Cárceles Borda, with Paula Medina Fernández as substitute.
- Member: Eva Carda Rodríguez, substitute Avelino Parreño Padilla.
- Member: Antonio Jiménez Marín, substitute Víctor Serrano Aranda.
- Member: Juan Pablo Sáez Castaño, substitute Juan Carlos Muñoz Muñoz.
- Member: Rubén Iñigo Mayor, substitute José Luis Pomeda González.
Annex III convenes the physical aptitude test, the first of the process according to the ninth basis of the call:
- Date and time: November 3, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. for the applicants.
- Location: Athletics Tracks of Azuqueca de Henares, at the “San Miguel” Sports Complex, Carretera de Villanueva, 1.
- Tribunal summons: 8:00 a.m. on the same day at the same venue.
- Prerequisite: medical certificate issued no more than thirty days prior certifying the capacity to perform the test.
Publication and next steps
The resolution provides for the publication of the announcement on the Notice Board of the Municipal Electronic Office and in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara. The document was signed in Alovera, on October 29, 2026, by the mayor, María Purificación Tortuero Pliego, and includes a verification code for its electronic validation.
With the final list closed, the 124 admitted candidates now face the schedule of personal tests, the first of which is the physical test in just four days. Those who pass this phase will continue the process until the two positions are filled, while the 15 definitively excluded candidates see the administrative correction process opened two weeks prior exhausted, making this publication the actual cutoff point of the call.
