Almodóvar del Pinar approves its public employment offer with eight positions

The City Council of Almodóvar del Pinar has approved its Public Employment Offer (OEP) for the year 2026, which provides for a total of eight positions among civil service and contractual staff. The decision was adopted by Mayoral Resolution of August 28, 2026, and its announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cuenca, number 106, of September 14, 2026, page 10 (reference NO. 2156).

The offer is framed within local public employment regulations, in compliance with Article 91 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of Local Regime, and Article 70 of the revised text of the Law of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30. The announcement is signed by the mayor, Francisco Jesús Ibáñez Monedero.

Civil Service Positions

Within the General Administration Scale, a single civil service position is called for, intended to reinforce the administrative services of the municipality.

• Administrative Assistant: 1 position, group C2, level 11.

Contractual Staff Positions

The bulk of the offer corresponds to contractual staff, with seven positions oriented toward the social and cultural services of the town.

• Librarian: 1 position, group A2.
• Home Care Assistant: 2 positions.
• Sociosanitary Assistant: 4 positions.

Appeals against the resolution

The resolution, which exhausts administrative remedies, may be appealed alternatively before the Mayor’s Office through an optional appeal for reversal within one month from the day following the publication of the announcement, in accordance with Articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, of the Common Administrative Procedure. It is also possible to file a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Section of the Court of First Instance or, at the choice of the interested party, the one corresponding to their domicile, within two months, in accordance with Article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, of the Contentious-Administrative Jurisdiction. If the appeal for reversal is chosen, the contentious route cannot be pursued until the former is expressly resolved or dismissed by silence.
