Almazán opens the football field regulations for public consultation

The Almazán City Council has initially approved the Municipal Regulation for the Operation of the New Artificial Grass Football Pitch, by Agreement of the Plenary on August 13, 2026. The text is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria (no. 97, of August 21, 2026, page 2843) and is subject to public consultation for a period of 30 days.

The processing is supported by articles 49 and 70.2 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of Local Regime, article 56 of the Revised Text of the Local Regime, and article 133 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The announcement is signed by the mayor, Jesús María Cedazo Mínguez, dated August 17, 2026.

Deadline and method for submitting allegations

The 30-day period begins to count from the day following the insertion of the announcement in the provincial gazette. During this period, any interested party may examine the regulation and submit any claims they deem appropriate.

• The text may be consulted at the municipal offices of the Almazán City Council.
• It will also be available on the council’s electronic office: http://almazan.sedelectronica.es.
• Allegations shall be formulated through the channels provided for in the common administrative procedure regulations.

Final approval

If no claims are submitted within the aforementioned period, the agreement to approve the regulation will be understood as definitively approved without the need for a new pronouncement by the Plenary. Otherwise, the council must resolve the submitted allegations before final approval.

Scope of the regulation

The regulation will govern the use and operation of the new artificial grass football pitch, a newly created sports facility that directly affects the sports clubs and users of the town. The regulation will establish the conditions for access, reservation, and use of the facility, as well as the obligations of the users.

The publication of this regulation represents a key step in the implementation of a sports infrastructure awaited by the citizens of Almazán. Citizen participation during the public information period will allow clubs and residents to adjust the rules of use to their needs before the regulation definitively enters into force.
