Almansa publishes the admitted candidates for part-time Emergency Technician

The Almansa City Council has approved the list of admitted and excluded applicants for the part-time Emergency Technician position, of a civil service nature and by open competition, as well as for the creation of a job bank. The decision was adopted through Mayoral Resolution number 2449/2026, dated October 15, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Albacete number 123, dated October 21, 2026, in the third section (Local Administration), pages 20 and 21, with official reference 27.645.

Two admitted and none excluded

The published list includes only two admitted applicants, with no excluded candidates listed:

• Pascual Landete Gómez (ID *1402)
• Ibán Sánchez Díaz (ID *1292)

The announcement, signed by the delegated councilwoman Matilde Cuenca Ruano, indicates that the resolution approves the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants, while the full text of the resolution included in the same announcement refers to the final list, in accordance with the fourth clause of the call for applications. The publication is made in the Official Gazette of the Province, on the municipal website (www.almansa.es), and on the notice board.

Bases and public employment offer

The process derives from the bases approved by Mayoral Resolution number 1,336/2026, dated May 29, which govern the selection for the vacant position in the civil service staff. The position is included in the 2025 Public Employment Offer of the Almansa City Council, which also provided for the creation of a job bank to cover temporary service needs.

The resolution is issued by virtue of the powers that local government legislation confers upon the delegated councilwoman, and expressly by Resolution number 1468/2023, dated June 23, regarding the delegation of competencies.

Qualifying tribunal and first exercise

The announcement details the composition of the tribunal that will evaluate the tests:

• Presidency: José García Torró (permanent) and Juan Miguel García Castillo (substitute).
• Permanent members: Luis Vicente Chico Ferris, Santiago Cantos Hernández, and Guillermo Díaz Olaya.
• Substitute members: Javier Cigés Tomás, Victor Jiménez Moreno, and Jonatan Tomás Campos.
• Secretariat: María Isabel Peñaranda Guerrero (permanent) and Rosario María Sánchez Pérez (substitute).

The first exercise will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at the premises of the Almansa Civil Protection volunteer group, located at José Pérez Ruiz de Alarcón Street number 2. Applicants must appear with their ID and a blue pen.

Notification and publicity

The resolution orders the publication of the agreement in the Official Gazette of the Province, its display on the notice board and on the City Council’s website, and its notification to the affected municipal units, as well as to the Personnel Board and the Works Council.

The call directly affects the two admitted candidates, who will face the first test in two weeks of a process with a single vacancy and an associated job bank. For the municipal emergency service, filling this part-time position and establishing the job bank are relevant for the planning of the response to incidents in the municipality.
