Allariz corrects the list of admitted candidates for the local police position
Por FactBox Admin

The Allariz City Council published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ourense on November 6, 2026, the corrected list of admitted and excluded applicants in the selection process for one local police officer position. The correction is made by Mayoral Resolution no. 2026-0509, dated November 3, 2026, which nullifies the previous decree approving the definitive list. The new list counts 51 admitted persons and seven excluded persons, and sets the first exercise for November 18 at 10:00 AM at the Casa da Mocidade.
What is being corrected and why
The municipal resolution annuls Decree 2026-0474, dated October 21, 2026, by which the definitive list of admitted and excluded applicants was approved. The announcement does not detail the specific causes for the rectification, but it does establish that the new list entirely replaces the previous one and is published in accordance with Article 20 of the General Regulation for the Admission of Personnel to the Service of the General State Administration, approved by Royal Decree 364/1995, dated March 10.
The convened position is a single one, for a local police officer of group C1, in a free shift, full-time, and through the competitive examination system. All information is available to interested parties on the city council’s electronic headquarters.
51 admitted and seven exclusions
The list of admitted applicants is headed by Reinaldo Abal Chaves, Alfredo Antonio Alonso Rivero, and Jonathan Álvarez López, and ends with Rodrigo Toucedo Camaño; between them are 51 names, of which a dozen, including Nerea Campo Castro, Kevin Carreño Martínez, and Marco Castiñeira Pais, selected the Galician language exam option.
The seven excluded persons and their reasons are:
- Alejandro Fernández Freijo, cause 2: criminal record certificate expired, invalid, or not presented.
- Carolina Franganillo Duarte, cause 3: sworn statement incorrect, not presented, or unsigned.
- David López Sánchez, cause 2.
- Greta Monguelli Carasa, causes 2 and 3.
- Aaron Solar Pena, causes 2 and 3.
- Raquel Sueiro Domínguez, cause 2.
- Rubén Sueiro Esmoris, cause 4: payment of the fee is not recorded.
Qualifying Tribunal and testing calendar
The same resolution approved the composition of the tribunal that will judge the tests:
- Presidency: Paulino Fernández Salgado, secretary-auditor of the Concello de Monterrei; substitute Noelia Rodríguez Martínez, secretary-auditor of the Concello de Maceda.
- Member: José Antonio Fernández Nieto, officer of the Ourense Headquarters; substitute Germán Quiroga Álvarez, police officer of the same headquarters.
- Member: Rocío Costoyas Riveiro, secretary-auditor of the Concello de Vilar de Barrio; substitute Beatriz Viteri Bouso, local police officer of the Concello do Carballiño.
- Member: Lorena Gómez Pérez, local police officer of the Ourense Headquarters; substitute Ángel Gallego Graña, chief officer of the Local Police of the Concello de Cangas.
- Secretariat: Marta Cajide Barbeito, secretary-auditor of the Concello de Allariz; substitute Eva García Fernández, auditor of the Concello de Barbadas.
The calendar is established as follows:
- Constitution of the tribunal: November 17, 2026, Tuesday, at 9:30 hours.
- First exercise: November 18, 2026, Wednesday, at 10:00 hours.
- Location: Casa da Mocidade, rúa da Liberdade, number 4, Allariz.
- Requirement for applicants: carry identification documentation.
Appeals against the resolution
The resolution ends the administrative process. Alternatively, an optional appeal for reversal may be filed before the Mayor’s Office within one month from the day following publication, in accordance with articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1; or a contentious-administrative appeal before the contentious-administrative section of the Court of First Instance of Ourense, or the one corresponding to the domicile, within two months, according to article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13. If the appeal for reversal is chosen, the contentious-administrative route cannot be pursued until the former is expressly resolved or a dismissal by silence occurs.
The rectification directly affects the 58 applicants who make up the two lists and forces those admitted to readjust their preparation to a calendar that begins in less than two weeks. For the Concello de Allariz, the call is decisive to fill an agent position in a small-scale local police force, hence the relevance of the final list being closed before the constitution of the tribunal.
